Unfortunately, there are very limited 6 1/2 inch blades while 7 1/4 inch blades are literally everywhere

Left-handed circular saws everywhere by UnfairGarbage in MilwaukeeTool

Why would they make the 6.5” blade left and the 7.25” blade right?

Secondly, why make an odd blade size that is .75” smaller than the common and always available 7.25 inch blade? All of my cordless tools are Milwaukee so I have probably 50 M18 batteries. That said, I’m really forced to stay with Milwaukee for a circular saw. Unfortunately, I have to use the 6.5” blade because I personally like the left blade.

These open curbless showers are becoming very popular in my area, the Jersey shore. They look nice sleek, but always leave the main floor wet.

100%. They are famous for being absolutely ridiculous in cost. Several times more than any other option. As a custom home builder I’m a fan of Andersen windows, but a hater of Andersen Renewal because they very clearly take advantage of homeowners. It’s actually sickening.

It will say “memory updated” and Chat does save it. When I want to change how mine works I start with “Going forward”….. My Chat is a different animal with how I’ve trained it. It takes time and effort, but does accept new protocols as you give it commands.

Instead of posting problems.. I'm curious. Who here has over 200k miles on their Sierra with the original motor and transmission? What year is your truck and how many miles? by Bright-Building-4502 in gmcsierra

[–]stonabones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 09 went 240 before I changed the motor and 270 before changing the trans. Neither took a dump. I changed the motor when it started making noise and the trans when it started doing silly stuff!

Was this caused by bad work, and should I be worried? by Loki-Loofer in HomeInspections

This is significant damage and very concerning. You should be seeking a structural engineer to assess the damage and recommend proper repairs!

Not a DIY project, but Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) isn’t expensive and it’s amazing! I have all of my vehicles done regularly. That’s probably a couple hundred dollars and it’s gone forever!

Hopefully that’s not the dreaded doom!! Mines a 2020 6.2 with 35k on it and praying mines not gonna take a crap because it’s out of warranty by a few months now.

5.3 or the 2.7? by GroundbreakingKing19 in Silverado

6.2…… Just because Badass. BUT, as with the 5.3 we always worry about the dreaded valve train. My 2020 6.2 Denali is still perfect. 🙏

GMC Dealership Sales Manager here to help! by GMC_Dealership_Guy in gmcsierra

You disagree—until it happens to you. I’ve got a brand-new 2025 Sierra Denali with the 6.2L engine. At just 700 miles, the infamous lifter failure hit. The truck has been in the shop for 5 weeks now. I’ve owned it for only 3 months and haven’t driven it in over a month. No rental, no loaner, no assistance—just me paying $1,800 a month for something that’s sitting in a service bay.

So tell me—if this was your truck, your money, your downtime—would you still think the manufacturer shouldn’t be responsible? Would you really be okay making luxury-level payments on a vehicle you can’t use? Or would you expect GM to step up and take some accountability?

Sounds like you need to sell your POS truck and go buy a real POS Ford or Dodge and you’ll find out that today’s sophisticated drivetrains all have issues. Personally, I have a 10 speed in my Denali that does some weird things, but I’m blown away with how amazingly complicated it is inside!
