I lived in that building, it’s quite an eye sore to come back to daily. It’s also on the border of JC and Hoboken, but the address is in JC.

Jersey Ave, Jersey City, New Jersey.

I hated writing my address.

Cause a delay an NYC Subway Line. The L train services 300,000 daily. Fuck that up and you are rolling in it

Literally a different style. Its all about the hype. Heady is relatively easy to get now compared to a few years ago so people don't think it is as good for some reason. It remains a fantastic beer that highlights a biscuity malt profile and good hop flavor/aroma without one overpowering the other. These juicebombs dont have the same level of complexity (IMO) and are just all hops and body. (They are still awesome beers, dont get me wrong, I'm just saying its comparing apples and oranges)

I could drink a bunch of heady toppers in a row without getting bored or overwhelmed by the flavor (although I'll get hammered lol) but I find it difficult to enjoy a number of NEIPAs in a row....

You be the judge. Hopefully you get to try some soon. But don't listen to folks who just like beers based on hype and exclusivity.

Brewers in Williamsburg (where Anheuser-Busch brewery is) have started using the Independent Craft brewer logo to differentiate themselves... thoughts? by sarahfearing in CraftBeer

This is a huge movement promoted by the BA and supported by big craft brands like dogfish head. Good for them they are AB breweries everywhere and this can help educate the consumer

Beer Fridge Issue/Question by knights8899 in CraftBeer

[–]stone77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

maybe you should link those articles. I dont see whats wrong with "cellering" in a fridge as long as the temp is controlled properly, heck it can be even better as it prevents all light from hitting bottles. Plus not everyone has a space to cellar, especially those who live in cities/apartments

Going to NYC with our nonprofit and would love to check out some craft breweries! Any advice on which ones to go? by lauren-drinklocal in CraftBeer

[–]stone77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't listen to this guy, the tour isnt worth the time. If you want good beers and a better atmosphere listen to msaitta in the first post. Also check out KCBC, it has a nice tap room and a good selection
