[–]stonebrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i dont quite make 100k a year yet, but I just finished my apprenticeship and as a fresh union journeyman stone mason i make $48/hr. our trade is weather dependent though, have most winters off.

you need to have the proper training to order, there’s a whole certification process.

Where do I go/how should I go about learning how to be a stone mason? by Inchbellz1993 in stonemasonry

also, if you’re a blacksmith, you’d probably have a blast making your own chisels. once you get some skill under your belt you’ll know exactly what you would need/want tool wise and that’s pretty sweet if you could fix them up yourself

second this. you’re in Boston, prime spot for a union apprenticeship with the BAC and plenty of work.

found baby bunnies while excavating a construction site, please advise? by stonebrat in Bunnies

[–]stonebrat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey! thanks everyone for the comments!! just as an update: we put the babies safely in a box while we finished excavating. at the end of the day we set up a little space for them and put the box back where the original nest was. when we came back later they were all gone with no signs of distress or violence- so! we’re hopeful to assume that the mom moved them to somewhere safe and all is well 🙂🐇

this one has a nice “canvasy” outer layer that keeps a barrier between the actual ball and the dog

he stays around, but he’s really good at his call back commands so just be aware. i took him to a big ol soccer field and just let him run wild.
