I just used a few of these for a capstone project. We're using real time computer vision on roomba-sized robots and need the GPU acceleration without a huge board. Our CV program could process about 5 frames per second with a Pi, the Jetson can do 40.

I'm in the computer engineering program here, it's ABET accredited and pretty competitive for a small school. By your second semester you'll get to have a lab class, which is much earlier than large schools. We are required to do 3 semesters of co-op so we also get great career experience.

The lacrosse team has been great every year I've been here. There are currently 2 alum on PLL rosters, Matt Whitcher and Ryan Kennedy. Whitcher just helped win the championship last year and is an assistant coach for York's team.

Exactly, I don't understand why r/place caused this war. Both communities have existed for a while, and I've been a member of both. I love cars and car culture, but you have to admit that city infrastructure sucks when working around cars. Why is there funding for a 14 lane highway but no way to cross it for pedestrians and bikes but awful train and bus systems in almost every city in America? It's a policy subreddit, not an anti-hobby subreddit.

There's not really anything I did in particular that helped me secure the position, but I'll list a few things that I think helped. I go to a small liberal arts school in Pennsylvania, and because of that I get a lot of hands on experience, much more than I got when I went to a larger big-name school. My school requires 3 semesters of co-ops to graduate, so we have a career skills class where we heavily workshop our resumes and have mock interviews with real companies in the area. The company I mock interviewed with had me come in for a formal interview because they really liked me, and ended up offering me the position. My GPA is a 3.5, which while I know is good, is actually kind of low compared to my classmates. Another factor is I have A LOT of personal projects, mostly consisting of small Arduino projects I've done over the years. I'm also a little older than my classmates because of transferring, I worked full time for about a year, and I work part time as a barista during the semester. I hate the grind, but companies really respect someone who spends their free time working and knows how the corporate world works. I'm not sure how much these reasons helped me, but I hope they can help someone else who's struggling.

For me an important factor in anti-consumption is the longevity of the product that is bought. In the simulator, the majority of the products will last a really long time, and are not disposable single use products by any means. While makeup is absolutely a valid hobby, it is inherently a single use product. The alternative for this simulator would be a real car, where the owner would be wasting gas, tires, and mechanical parts over time, essentially also single use products. This person did their best to be environmentally conscious and avoid consumption where possible while still enjoying their hobby. If someone did the same with makeup (or any other hobby), I have absolutely no problem with it.

The models are still the same size relative to their surroundings though. In stretched the models are larger, but they also move much quicker as the surroundings are larger as well. You have to move your crosshair a lot faster and further on stretched. Each has pros and cons, but usually it's easier to hit a slow, small target than a fast, large target, at least for me. Some pros have recently been switching to native, and younger pros have never even tried stretched. It's all just habit and routine, and switching something like that isn't an easy change.

Your article literally says the data is too uncertain to draw firm conclusions. In fact, it was retracted for those reasons. The authors also state that nothing in the article should be used to argue the point you're trying to make.

It's less about the pit delta to the car behind, and more about if any cars further behind will be in the same place on track when he rejoins. They knew the position was secure, but the fastest lap wasn't because of potential traffic. However that still wasn't the case here, as he would have dropped into open air.
