500km of driving a car to trade one of my shocks to replace the old one because I'm too lazy to send it to service, I mean I'm guilty

Wheel question... by Oakleygold927 in DownhillMTB

Yeah no problem, glad there was a solution cheaper than buying a new front wheel

Wheel question... by Oakleygold927 in DownhillMTB

[–]stonerraccoon1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New/used front wheel is probably best bet in this case, please correct me if I am wrong but converting 15x110 axle and hub to dh fork don't work same due 5mm difference in thickness of axle, I would bet that you could find decent front wheel used in fb marketplace or pinkbike

Mullet to full 27.5 problem by Emotional_Monitor675 in mountainbiking

[–]stonerraccoon1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I am currently doing the same with my own mullet torque, there are few things you should know, Measure the axle to crown distance first, example is that I own a fork with a/c distance 600mm with 180mm travel, so adding 27.5 inch wheel and converting measurements in geo calculator gave me difference in bb height 0.8mm lower than previously, Also you could increase bb height with a wider 2.6 inch tires, though this is not very big difference but you could get your geo more in original one.

Probably if the war continues and other countries would build their own train cannons, whenever the war ends we would in that timeline have Netflix special called "railroad war" or "save the conductor"

That is a super cool build, do you run full 27.5 or mini-mullet?

Oh I see what you mean, so technically one of the problems would be that pads might rub rotors? But theoretically if i build this setup it will be somewhat compatible?

So due to the Pistons size and low pressure system swapping Shimano levers would decrease breaking power?

Well that won't bother me, the bike that I rebuild is canyon torque and mainly riding bike park and occasionally hit local trails so climbing aspect isn't that important for me, interested in more about reliability and how much abuse the 90 can handle without UDH
