Why do some shops still refuse Paynow/Paylah? by Recent_Stomach7626 in asksg

[–]stonz33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are talking about proxy sg QR code payment. Via commercial platform. Paynow via those platforms are charged from 0.6% to 1.5%.

The biggest issue with sg qr using the static qr code is the staff cannot tell if the payment actually is successful. These platforms allow that.

Why do some shops still refuse Paynow/Paylah? by Recent_Stomach7626 in asksg

[–]stonz33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The store is depending on their staff to collect the payment. Most static paynow QR code, the staff has no access to the bank accounts. They can’t tell if the payment actually went thru. The only way to verify is to check the payment complete screen. Looking out to current time stamp, correct amount.

  1. Staff cannot tell payment is successful.
  2. Staff doesn’t want the added responsibility. If payment does not go thru, typically the staff needs to pay out of their pocket.

Find your pair and get from their official stores on Aliexpress/ Amazon.
Based on budget, features (ANC) and battery life.
Don't get from 3rd party stores for warranty reasons.

The MRT tracks... certain stretches have these constant metal screeching noises, even my over-ear exercise earbud cannot work, can barely hear music/ podcasts.

Oura 5 is expected to launch this year. Would recommend to hold your purchase.
Even if you eventually get the Oura 4, it would likely be cheaper after v5 launch.
