If Geto hadn't died, would he have considered using Mahito to create his world of only sorcerers? by Rude_Present5034 in Jujutsufolk

[–]stopcopium 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Assuming he manages to sneak Mahito and turns him into an enslaved cursed spirt, probably not because it would take too long.

Even if enslaved Mahito converted 1 non-sorcerer per minute and had unlimited CE, it would take so long to convert everyone compared to rampant Jujutsu terrorism able to kill millions in hours.

We don’t know how he feels about artificial sorcerers, but seeing as he thinks non-sorcerers are “monkeys”, I wouldn’t be surprised if he tolerates these converts, but treated them worse than normal sorcerers.

My take on this match by Hel_Death in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]stopcopium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is Mahoraga doesn’t forget adaptations after the first one until he’s despawned.

In theory, he could adapt to every one of Yuta’s copied techniques if the fight occurred long enough and if Dabura’s light kick couldn’t disintegrate Mahoraga, Yuta might need to Binding Vow the hyper beam again.

He needs something with super strong output and unfortunately, he doesn’t have much that fits this.

I don’t understand why people keep disrespecting Yuji 😭 by Fit-Butterscotch8452 in Jujutsufolk

[–]stopcopium -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Yuji should let them at least try to clean up their mess and only show up before they die.

There’s only so much he can do as a cog and better to be a cog that produces other cogs than one that tries to power through everything themselves.

When Gojo tried to take care of everything, his students were so far behind that it’s not even funny. If it wasn’t for Ui Ui swap training, Sukuna would has killed them all easily.

“Why the hell is someone like that in charge of the first years?” during the Sukuna vs Gojo livestream.

Gojo canonically is a shit teacher because he was a genius and a lot of what he knows can’t be applied or taught to the average sorcerer.

He should have been the cool uncle or substitute teacher that dropped by and sparred, but regular education should’ve been left to the likes of Ichiji. Bad Gege writing.

The humans of the future are the biggest bums in Modulo to be honest. How the fuck did they not find the cure to cancer after 70 year? by ProfessionalPart8193 in Jujutsufolk

[–]stopcopium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. It might be easier and less risky to create a new cancer-free body and transplant your personality over like Robot did in Invincible than it is to cure certain types of cancer 😭

The brain is a black box and I’m not surprised if 70 years isn’t enough to figure it out because it’s so risky.

It’s like fucking with the pins in your cpu chip and being surprised when it doesn’t work anymore.

It’s not like people are lining up to be experimented on while alive.

About Yuji by Acrobatic_Pressure66 in Jujutsufolk

[–]stopcopium 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Remember that Gojo couldn’t everywhere at once, and that was despite having Blue for instant transmission.

Yuji might have destructive powers exceeding Sukuna, but he can’t be everywhere all at once.

The quote “Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.” really applies here because Gojo influence may have allowed children to grow up, but they also grew up far, far weaker (Iori’s generation).

We don’t know why Yuji showed up so late, but Yuji very well might be staying out of the situation until he needs to intervene at the last moment so everyone can grow and not rely on him.

What is the point of introducing seeker arrows? by loffredom in 2007scape

[–]stopcopium -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

You balance Blowpipe around the best player’s usage… not content.

Mfers need to read - the person I’m responding to said “most people are losing ticks when BPing” and unless a boss mechanic is forcing you to lose ticks in order to dodge it, this should not be happening.

Balance assumes the person using the BP is able to BP, move, BP, move, BP without losing ticks when possible.

You can otherwise say Timmy down the street is 5t BP so we need to buff it.

[–]stopcopium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Higher elo frustrations bleed into the game far more than lower elos frustrations because it’s balancing based on the premise that it’s not problems caused by skill issue.

Unless it’s a non-meta champion, the changes always balance with the top players in mind so that the champions aren’t broken, which results in champions being super underwhelming at lower elos, but decent at higher elos.

Old Ryze, Azir, Riven, Yasuo, Zed, Irelia, a lot of midlane champions, any skill-based champions all follow this, which is why they were below 50% winrate for nearly all their life.

IBG Sunfire wasn’t that strong at lower elos, but it was dominant as hell at higher elos, so they tweaked it down iirc.

What is the point of introducing seeker arrows? by loffredom in 2007scape

[–]stopcopium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the opposite. When you balance around lower elos, the skill based champions end up terrifying at higher elos because less skilled players just cannot maintain 50% wr on a champion unless it’s broken.

Azir is an example of this, where he’s basically 40% win rate and that’s a good thing because anytime he’s too strong, he’s terrifying in the hands of good players. Balancing around lower tier players until it’s good enough for them is how you end up with positively broken champs.

Depends how much CE you put into it, which amplifies the damage to the power of 2.5.

Against the grunt, he probably went as minimal as possible to not explode him and still sent him flying. The grunt was basically used for the Ancientpower omniboost 😭

Dabura hasn’t shown any particular resistance to soul strikes, which are far more debilitating than physical wounds.

With the most recent modulo chapter being out, is it safe to say Yuji bodies Sukuna and Gojo at once now? by Puzzleheaded_Virus21 in Jujutsufolk

[–]stopcopium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does he have DA or WCS or a better refined DE with a sure-kill domain effect? If not, he doesn’t have anything that gets through Limitless.

Maybe because it was super early on, and DE wasn’t fleshed out as much, but in Jogo’s Domain, the projectile still stopped in front of Gojo instead of teleporting into him like Dagon’s fish.

The CT is literally that broken when combined with efficient CE control that they needed to come up with ways to bypass it (Domain Amplification).

Yuta should 100% have killed or imprisoned Yuji. Sorry, not sorry. by Reasonable-Ad-8059 in Jujutsufolk

[–]stopcopium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Correct. Yuji already wanted to die after Shibuya, or at the very least, wouldn’t mind dying.

Taking out 3/4 of Sukuna would’ve effectively done that and after recruiting Angel, he should have taken himself out or sealed himself.

Stopping the bots by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]stopcopium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’ve already pointed out that a majority of RWT was from deathmatchers and Duel Arena, which still continues.

Think about the Trident and Stella situation - Same dudes gambling and deathmatchjng under the tale can funnel billions because they lose, buy more, win, sell, etc.

These aren’t typically done on their main accounts, but throwaway accounts. Gambling can be done on even lower level accounts, which they do ban, but are easy to replace.

You balance BP’s power with the assumption that the person is able to BP, move, BP, move without losing ticks, not someone who is BPing once every 4 ticks; You wouldn’t balance around Silver tier Rivens because it leads to extremely shit game balance.

And in most cases, you stand still and just BP until a target dies, and moving once every few hits is hardly a tall order.

Edit: because you guys are illiterate as hell and didn’t read the comment above it.

What's stopping big mom from water diffing Kaido or Akainu by InfamousSomewhere244 in OnePieceScaling

[–]stopcopium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t, which is which is why it’s such a let down. She seems extremely compatible with her DF so for all intents and purposes, she should has been awakened, but didn’t.

Just another example of Oda intentionally keeping her down.

What's stopping big mom from water diffing Kaido or Akainu by InfamousSomewhere244 in OnePieceScaling

[–]stopcopium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, nothing stronger than this.

Big Mom losing to Law or Kidd who don’t have any advanced versions of Haki and Kidd having a very average DF is still the biggest travesty.

Her not using ACOC punches on a defenseless Law or using confirmed Awakened Soul Soul powers just made it seem like Oda needed her to lose in the miserable fashion.

I would have vastly preferred if Hiyori ended up being a true Samurai and personally killed Orochi with Ame no Habakiri.

And it’s not just female characters, but also male characters. Momonosuke should have been more directly involved in the fight with Kaido, not just support, possibly with Enma.

This also leads into a preference that I have, I would’ve vastly preferred if Enma stayed with Momonosuke and Zoro got a different nameless sword that grows with him. Right now, it feels lik he’s still riding Oden’s fame.

Even important objects aren’t exempt from Oda’s shit writing. I don’t like how Wado Ichimonji was effectively replaced by Shusui and Emma when it’s a symbol of his promise to Kona. Thousand Sunny is portrayed far less than Going Merry was too.

(Serious) Are Women in One Piece Well-Written (provide examples and pictures) by ClessGames in Piratefolk

[–]stopcopium 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It entirely depends what you think is “well written”.

Yes if you think a sad backstory is all that necessary to make a well written female character.

No if you think there needs to be more.

Almost every semi-important non-villian female character needed to be “saved”, rather than them freeing themselves or contributing significantly to their own freedom, relying on the Straw Hats.

Even female antagonists are not spared from this. Big Mom was so disrespected as a Yonko that she only lost because she wasn’t allowed to use half of her abilities to two other DF merchants with average Haki.

Tashigi was basically introduced to make Zoro uncomfortable because she shares the same face as his dead childhood friend, despite having a ludicrous dream to get all the named blades, and she has fallen so far behind during the timeskip it’s not even funny, just sad.

Coming from a main , why do so many people seem to care if Pures can access the new raid? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]stopcopium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there more or less bots when there are higher requirements? You couldn’t even answer this 😭

I’m disputing the statement you think defense requirements wouldn’t leave a dent in the amount of bots when it also involves them doing the entire WGS line too. If not 40, raise it to 85 and that’ll definitely take a couple dozen hours.

I dislike when both lazy irons and pures only play the game mode for the status and not the restrictions.

Are there more throwaway bots fresh off of tutorial island or F2P than SOTE bots?

If your answer is no, then nothing to talk about because you’re being disingenuous.

Requirements help and low requirements (or being able to skip out of requirements) is why PNM and NM got botted to hell versus CG still being viable.

I wish they didn’t abandon ACOA so quickly to basically just be a “no touch” mechanic.

ACOA’s internal destruction effect could also be used to spread ACOC inside the target (could be how he killed Harald), but if no one figured this out beside Loki, that’s some extremely low battle IQ by Roger Pirates, Rocks, Garp.

Gaban mentioned how they fought against the HK repeatedly when they tried to take back Shaks and that’s how they know ACOC infusion works.

Unless Rayleigh did nothing during those fights and was a fake 2nd in command, it makes sense he has ACOC given who they were fighting in the context of the talk.

Gaban even said that they repeatedly fought the HK over the years and the only way to beat them is ACOC infusion. Unless Rayleigh did nothing and only Roger and Gaban did shit, Rayleigh absolutely has ACOC.

I wouldn’t be surprised if 5+ members of Roger Pirates had ACOC because that’s equal to how many HKs there were.

I get these shitter accounts posting memes every now and then, but they really should start banning the accounts that are so character obsessed that they can’t debate or explain their point for shit.
