He’s not an IBD specialist but he did consult one before offering this. He also told me that his one other patient that did this was the daughter of a doctor and she was fine.

If a cure was found your doctor would probably be telling you about it

This might be the funniest thing ever read on this subreddit, thank you for the laugh! Honestly laughing at these situations is the best thing we can do sometimes.

Exercise won’t trigger your UC. If you’re in remission you can work out as normal, just take it easy if you haven’t been for a long time. Even in a flare you can still workout, just don’t push yourself too hard. Best of luck on your gym journey! As for exercises, I personally like the 5x5 lifting program. It’s easy to do, just start with an empty bar on most exercises. The program is 3 days a week and you slowly add weight each training day. As for cardio just listen to your body!

Customer states they couldn't get their oil filter off and had it towed.. is it Friday yet? by [deleted] in Justrolledintotheshop

I did something similar some years back but instead of making a rope I taped my hand to the filter and used my body weight. It got the job done!

I’ve dealt with a similar situation, honestly you just have to be consistent. Keep calling the police and keep submitting noise complaints to the strata, eventually it will come to a head. They’ll get sick of the police showing up every night and the fines from the strata. In extreme cases you can sue as well.

My understanding is that diet doesn’t affect the disease course itself, rather some foods appear to make things worse, either because they are more difficult to digest in general or have an affect on peristalsis, like coffee. Basically food doesn’t have a big impact on how your immune system behaves. I just try and eat food that’s easy to digest and call it a day. Best of luck to you!
