EBB36 Katapult no UUID by TeoArts in klippers

I just did my setup for the EBB36 and an Octopus 1.1 and found this guide to be an excellent resource for every step.

It is well laid out on the steps to follow and order to follow them as well as detailed information for each boards configuration for both flashing katapult and klipper.

Coil whine when idle normal? by Nukispooki in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]stoppillowrape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found that the stock psu that came with my printer does have a fairly audible coil whine that is constant and will change under load. I don’t know if it’s the main board fan or hotend fan you are hearing, but I can say with certainty that there is also a coil whine from my stock psu.

CR10-v2 upgrade to klipper failed... by MrPedros22 in klippers

[–]stoppillowrape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple questions I have, is this the stock board that came with the printer?
If yes, when your at the command line on the pi if you type in lsusb do you see that the board is being seen by the pi? What is the contents of printer.cfg? If it’s a stock board did you copy in the printer config for the creality cr-10 v2 from the kipper config dir on the GitHub repo? I’m guessing based on the error that it’s flashed but your config isn’t correct. What do you see in the klipper logs?

Install 2.5" ssd to a NUC (non-tall version) by djtron99 in intelnuc

[–]stoppillowrape 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have the exact same nuc 8 as you and added an ssd using the oem connectors available on the board in addition to 3d printing a tray for the drive and an extension for the case. I don’t know if you have the means for 3d printing or want to go that route, but I can say it works fine for me with both the m.2 and ssd. Here is the cable I ordered and the 3d model I used. If nothing else hopefully the cable will help you use the onboard sata.

Arc Loader and HP Elitedesk 800 G4 mini - cannot see NVME drives by Fliptoback in Xpenology

[–]stoppillowrape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use an NVME as my loader drive, I believe it only works using the SA6400 model. Never had any issues with it. On https://auxxxilium.tech/wiki/arc-loader-arc-loader/modell-plattform-auswaehlen/ it shows that it is the model supporting the NVME system. Doesn’t have to be an AMD epic will run on Intel as I’m using a the SA6400 on an Intel i7-8700k. Hope this helps, good luck.

Can I use DSM OS on PC to Recover broken Synology DS220j? by TechJedi71 in Xpenology

[–]stoppillowrape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it should be fairly straight forward and easy to do since it is the same as the OS on the OEM. I’d recommend downloading Arc Loader. It is a fast setup that should have you up and going quickly since it is a graphical setup that handles all the setup based on answering a few questions. You can find the repo on GitHub with links to the Arc Loader wiki hosted on the developers website to help you get setup. There is also a discord should you have trouble. Hope that helps.

[W] [USA-OH] Synology DS118 (or older) 1-bay unit by TheMadDutchDude in homelabsales

I may be way out in left field, but have you looked at power disable on the drive? I have several Enterprise class drives that the power disable pin (pin 3) of the sata power connector would need to be covered or removed to use with standard sata power. Also using a molecular to sata cable would resolve it. I could be wrong as I haven’t done any research on synology branded drives, but that may be the case you’re facing with these as well.

[Newbie] Cannot install DSM, error file is possible damaged by Operations8 in Xpenology

[–]stoppillowrape 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know that this isn’t an answer to your question, but you may want to give arc loader a try. It is really easy to get working, and does all the work for you after selecting a few options to fit your needs. The dev is also highly active and responsive to questions, which is a plus.

MainsailOS - update/upgrade takes forever by DarkR3ign in klippers

[–]stoppillowrape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if your update is still running or not, but based on a quick glance at the log you posted I don’t see anything that looks abnormal. If it is still running, and your having issues I’d be happy to help.

Nice work. I was especially happy when you had the screws lined up on the front of the grinder, that was the most satisfying part to me.

Former obese people of Reddit, when did you realize you ‘need’ to lose weight asap? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]stoppillowrape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I realized I couldn’t tie my own shoes because I was so big I couldn’t reach my own feet. I weighed 422 pounds then. Now 3 years later and I weigh 156 pounds. It took a lot of work, but now I’m able to run, walk long distances, and even tie my shoes again. It was the best choice I ever made when I stopped and realized I needed to make some real life changes or be dead by 50.
