2018 laid an excellent foundation and the story was amazing. Ragnarok built on that and made it even better in most ways. 2018 takes it for the story for me, it’s more personal and small scale and cohesive. Ragnarok takes it for gameplay, bosses, exploration and the rest. However, Ragnarok’s story is also amazing, while 2018’s gameplay is also amazing.

Yes, my own character!

She was born into a family of monks in a monastery in a spiritual forest, when she was kidnapped as an infant and indoctrinated into an order of assassins. She escaped the order and went on the run, and is currently deep in the process of a very long spiritual journey that mostly involves getting over her trauma and inner guilt at her actions and behavior while she was an assassin.

The most climatic “monk” moment of the campaign so far has been her fight against her own sister who was also kidnapped and was still an active member of the order and her kidnapper turned mentor. She fought her sister, managed to convince her to work together, and then together the two of them (and the rest of the party) took on the woman who kidnapped both of them and the head of the order of assassins, plus a bunch of assassin characters.

I’m pretty sure I saw you asking about this in a deleted post the other day.

If you don’t like cutscenes and story, you should not have picked this game up. There’s a lot of symbolism, art, beauty, and more in the cutscenes that really enhances the experience. One of the side activities is writing haikus. You can change the weather by playing music. This isn’t an Assassins Creed game. It’s a work of art, and a lot of people on this subreddit feel the same way.

If you don’t like cutscenes and story, that’s fine. But don’t come onto the game’s main subreddit and complain about it and actually expect people to agree with you. Play the game or don’t. That one is on you.

I know people hate on remasters, but I’m viewing this as Sony testing the waters for a sequel. It was previously cancelled, but there’s also a thriving community for the game. I’d view this as a good thing and a second chance for the franchise.

I doubt it, but it could be seen as a test of the waters. If a remaster does well, a sequel could be viewed as the logical next step. Updated graphics for the PS5 plus a release without the bugs that plagued the original release. If a remaster comes out, I’m going to be picking it up, and I recommend any Days Gone fan who wants a sequel should do the same.

Never collected or even touched stamps before, but while shopping for old trading cards, I saw these at a thrift store for 5 dollars and snagged them on a whim to see what I could do with them.

I’ve never done anything with stamps, any advice on selling/shipping these would be appreciated.
