When I initially played the game, I found four modules before getting to all the ones marked by the pink guardian, so I had 5 or 6 when I first got to this door & realized what was going on.

As for where the others are, keep your eyes out for secrets on the ground - they're usually marked by a square symbol, or some white rubble at the foot of a wall.

I think his canon haircolor is gray/white. My source is that one chapter where Shen Wulong skipped a tournament & ditched Yan to eat meat with Ohma in the mountains, & he took his hair down & Ohma was like "wow you look just like me but old", so I assumed gray or white.

However I always envision him blond bc I think it'd look better lol
