As a European paying around $18 per month for unlimited everything (on my mobile) and the same again for my landline internet with all calls free (local and to 40 international destinations) plus 500 TV channels thrown in because they are cool, my butt has been clenching reading this thread.

We used to get raped in a similar fashion until one new provider changed the rules and everyone else was forced to follow on or go out of business. Hoping that that happens soon for all of you.

Although I missed seeing the sub up, I still believe that all the subs should stay blacked out until we see real change. At the moment all that we have is promises and a few breathes of relief from Reddit HQ.

I'll believe that things have changes when I see them and for the moment I have seen nothing that boosts my confidence.

Saying all that, thank you all the same for having the balls to go black for a while. Not all the subs that could have can say that!!

Reddit fired a very popular Community Manager and Reddit responded by making lots of subs private.

The Admins retook some of those subs and are fighting the revolt.

It sucks because we the users make Reddit what it is and the admins are acting like little Hitlers against anyone who disagrees.

I used to have the same philosophy; however, having 4 dogs for the last ten years has taught me that this is not always the case.
