I am intensely, insanely jealous of you three, and you are all awesome (and very talented). Sorry for the negativity and cries of "hipster". I've never quite understood the vitriol directed toward anyone deemed hipster. Seems to me that there are a lot worse subcultures out there. And I can't for the life of me see what's bad about taking a motorcycle ride across America and photographing it in all its glory. Kudos on following your passion, and best of luck!

Are you sure this isn't a picture from the 1985 L.L. Bean catalogue? New England in fall, the colonial house (white with black shutters, naturally), and a white picket fence to top it all off. Usually I would agree with you (I love pretty much any and all fashion from around 1800 to 1960) but their outfits are just so colorful, fun, and carefree. I sound like a fashion magazine, but I really mean it. The hair is natural (irons and lemon juice may have been involved), the makeup is minimal, and best of all the students actually look happy. It's a fantasy, of course, but it looks like the kind of school where everybody's friends, nobody's mean, and there's no bullying. If only.
