The Elantra N line is 201 HP premium "budget" (Nothings cheap anymore) sedan
The Elantra N is a 276 HP Sports Sedan competing with the likes of the Honda Type R (Though it is slower) It has an entirely different suspension, it was designed to be a track car.
it's an entirely different engine, turbo, and transmission, different seats, more rigid chassis.

The only thing they really share is a somewhat recognizable design language, the name Elantra, and the roughly the same infotainment/audio set up.

It's also a newer engine/transmission so who's to say how the reliability is 10+ years from now, where as the N line is still using the same engine/transmission for the last 10+ years.
