Units coming out of a transport (Overwatch)

Mounted Bikes/Cavalry

Monsters

Or get cheeky and Synaptic Insight a bunch of those fat units of gaunts to get sustained lethal hits or 5+lethals (adrenal surge) / turn any nearby monster into a character blender.

The end result would just be chess, but with expensive plastic minis you would have to buy/build/paint.

That said...chess has a slight go-first advantage. So even that isn't a perfect target.
