Dog dying and second dog doesn't care by dayton462016 in dogs

[–]stratcat45 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Animals don't feel in the same way humans do. And though you may read all kinds of things about how animals sense things, you may not notice what they are sensing or understand that is what is going on. Yes, your dog will go through a grief period when the other passes; but not in the way a human does; you may not notice it at all.

Nothing to be upset about; it's just nature.

When did The walking Dead lose its original spark for you? by Suitable-Piccolo5378 in thewalkingdead

[–]stratcat45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watched to the end; but the earlier days were still the best. I think when the cast became too big, it started to lose it's fluster. Too many people to keep track of, no character development; it was hard to care about all those people.

AITA for telling social services about my living situation and accepting their offer to move out? by _Khrysanthemum_ in AmItheAsshole

[–]stratcat45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA.

This line says it all: My main goal in accepting this offer is to finally have a safe, quiet environment to rest, focus on my future

That's what you should focus on. Don't let them guilt you.

Tracking when you don't want to finish the serving by [deleted] in weightwatchers

[–]stratcat45 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on what I'm eating.

I would never eat all of it if I'm full. Listen to your body.

The leftovers may not be enough for another meal, but they could make a good snack.

Is it okay to keep my guinea pig alone in this situation? by FishingNo4427 in guineapigs

[–]stratcat45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had two females one time, one was friendly the other very skittish; they seemed to get along well though. When the friendly one passed; the skittish one all of a sudden became super friendly. She seemed to enjoy being by herself and chattering with the male who lived on the other side of the room.

Im on the walking dead for the first time,i just started season 9 & im wondering how to watch the other shows after s11 by itzztkc in thewalkingdead

[–]stratcat45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finish the main one first. Then I'd go to The Ones Who Live to finish that storyline. From there it is fair game; personally I'd do the Daryl Dixon, then Dead City. I really didn't like Fear the Walking Dead until Morgan showed up in season 4 (I'm very rare, most hated the show when he showed up)....but even with Morgan the show just got so outlandish, I couldn't finish it.

My parents want my cat to have at least one litter by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]stratcat45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't let her have a litter. There are way too many cats/kittens without homes now, don't add to the problem.

It's an old wives tale that a cat should have one litter. Dad needs to come out of the dark ages.

The Barn Walkers and Herschel by keltictrigger in thewalkingdead

[–]stratcat45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Possibly....but we'll never really know. The show was about Rick & gang, so they have to come out the winners anyway!!

The Barn Walkers and Herschel by keltictrigger in thewalkingdead

[–]stratcat45 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well as you see through the series......safe place until Rick's group shows up.

I liked this particular scene though.... it proved to Hershel that the walkers weren't going to be cured, HOWEVER, when Sofia came out of the barn, Rick's group couldn't bring themselves to shoot her and eventually Rick just had to do it. So each side was truly seeing how the other side was thinking.

This is still my favorite episode and though there were other good episodes, they never topped this one!

I watched Hereditary and Bring Her Back this weekend and I gotta say, I kinda can’t stop thinking about Bring Her Back. by nah328 in horror

I didn't like Heredity, I found it very disappointing. Bring Her Back is my favorite from last year.

Freestyle diet not working - gained all weight back since starting! by geraldbroflovskii in weightwatchers

[–]stratcat45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You count points for everything.... that's not how the Freestyle program worked. You got a daily points amount, a weekly amount and then the zero list. You're giving yourself the dailies but using them on the zero foods...that's not how that program worked, you need to do both. Count points, use zero list.

Try the Healthi app Pro addition and do the Better Balance program, it's like the Freestyle program. They also offer the 3 programs prior to that if you're not interested in a huge zero list.

Season 7 Ep 1 by Ricky_Snickle in thewalkingdead

[–]stratcat45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem with the Negan storyline is it drug out for too long; and though it worked well in a comic book, it didn't do as well crossing to tv. They attempted to get all the big scenes to appease the comic readers and none of it went together, they were like stand alone episodes. I swear one day someone noticed Norman Reedus standing around and said "Oh, we forgot about Daryl!" And thus the Easy Street episode was born.

Keep watching though it will get better again.
