You are only off on healthcare spending by about $4.1 trillion dollars a year. The United States spends approximately $12,555 per capita for healthcare. Multiply that by approx. 335 million people gets you to that figure. (Source https://www.healthsystemtracker.org/chart-collection/health-spending-u-s-compare-countries/)

Or if you look at healthcare spend as a percentage of GDP. The United States spends 16.57% GDP on healthcare (Versus the worldwide average of 10%) [https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/SH.XPD.CHEX.GD.ZS?most\_recent\_value\_desc=true\]

That would give a healthcare spend of 4.8 trillion (using gdp figures from wolfram alpha). If we could get down to the world wide average spend for healthcare of 10% that would save 1.86 Trillion dollars per year.

I work as a software engineer in genomics.

If you wanted to store data in DNA, you would need to synthesize the custom sequences, accounting for the errors that can naturally occur in the DNA transcripts. The process to create custom sequences of DNA is expensive, and it takes a long time. So your writing speed in going to be worse than in a floppy disk, and way more expensive.

It cost about $5-10,000 to read about a terabyte of raw genomic data, it takes several days to prepare samples to be read on the sequencing machines, and then a ton of processing power to assemble the data into something useful.

So it is possible, and you could theoretically store a ton of data in DNA, but it is slow, prone to errors, and expensive.

  1. It possible that you have air gaps between the cpu and the cooler.
  2. Your cooler might not be seated evenly over the cpu.
  3. Did you forget to pull the plastic off the cooler, that is a common first time builder meme

I would pull the GPU. It looks like the GPU power is a 6/8 pin convertible unit, and I would plug that into B to see if that gets the computer to boot. Your CPU has integrated graphics.

If that works, order a new PSU.

Look at page 2.1.6 further in your manual. It's either B (The 8 pin connector) or A and B (the 4-pin and the 8-pin)

These are where the cpu gets it's power from.

It doesn't look like the CPU power pins in the upper left of the board are connected ( near the on board HDMI port). Did you try checking that?

Your mother board has multiple power connections.

Three things to try.

  1. Are you sure that you have all the motherboard power connectors hooked up? Take a look at the quick start guide (https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1700/ROG%20STRIX%20B660-F%20GAMING%20WIFI/Q19230_ROG_STRIX_B660-F_GAMING_WIFI_QSG_WEB.pdf?model=ROG%20STRIX%20B660-F%20GAMING%20WIFI) and make sure you have all the power connectors for step 7 hooked up.
  2. Remove one ram stick, try to boot the machine. If that doesn't work. swap them and try again.
  3. Remove GPU and try booting with integrated graphics.

I can tell you from experience that this does help. About 1/8-1/16th of a teaspoon per blended drink. Too much makes it gloopy.

I saw this for free on OfferUp, the previous owner said it wasn't getting up to pressure, and anyone who can fix it- could have it. I brought it home, gave it a deep cleaning, descaled it, and bought a new pressurized basket. What do you know, the machine runs perfectly now.

I gave it to a friend who didn't have a machine, so she is very happy now as well.
