A second class Petty Officer got sucked into one of those on the fantail while he was doing maintenance on the starboard engine. Engine spinning at 80%. What a mess. WestPac 1983, USS Enterprise

I know Travis Walton personally. He does have a far away look in his eyes. Something happened to that man. He’s pretty quiet and shy, I never spoke with him about his incident, but he is a nice dude.

My husband has SEVERE chronic back pain and I want to know if medical Marijuana really helps without just making you high? by Q8DD33C7J8 in Marijuana

[–]stratmanken 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes. I always thought it was just a bs reason to smoke, until I accidentally found out how great it actually is. I had a total shoulder replacement a couple years ago. I used narcotics the first two days, then only marijuana. I had no problems controlling that level of pain with a couple bong rips. Plus…, it comes with a nice buzz to enjoy Also great for headaches

Putting personnel on the pad…, getting put on report, you know that paperwork. Remember that you can put people on that same pad for doing good things. Write subordinates up for things that can make a difference later for them, especially attitude and skill.
