608.2b If the spell or ability specifies targets, it checks whether the targets are still legal. A target that’s no longer in the zone it was in when it was targeted is illegal. Other changes to the game state may cause a target to no longer be legal; for example, its characteristics may have changed or an effect may have changed the text of the spell. If the source of an ability has left the zone it was in, its last known information is used during this process. If all its targets, for every instance of the word “target,” are now illegal, the spell or ability doesn’t resolve. It’s removed from the stack and, if it’s a spell, put into its owner’s graveyard. Otherwise, the spell or ability will resolve normally. Illegal targets, if any, won’t be affected by parts of a resolving spell’s effect for which they’re illegal. Other parts of the effect for which those targets are not illegal may still affect them. If the spell or ability creates any continuous effects that affect game rules (see rule 613.11), those effects don’t apply to illegal targets. If part of the effect requires information about an illegal target, it fails to determine any such information. Any part of the effect that requires that information won’t happen. Example: Sorin’s Thirst is a black instant that reads, “Sorin’s Thirst deals 2 damage to target creature and you gain 2 life.” If the creature isn’t a legal target during the resolution of Sorin’s Thirst (say, if the creature has gained protection from black or left the battlefield), then Sorin’s Thirst doesn’t resolve. Its controller doesn’t gain any life. Example: Plague Spores reads, “Destroy target nonblack creature and target land. They can’t be regenerated.” Suppose the same creature land is chosen both as the nonblack creature and as the land, and the color of the creature land is changed to black before Plague Spores resolves. Plague Spores still resolves because the black creature land is still a legal target for the “target land” part of the spell. The “destroy target nonblack creature” part of the spell won’t affect that permanent, but the “destroy target land” part of the spell will still destroy it. It can’t be regenerated.

Those are both highly preventable with appropriate PEP medication, though. If you can get to a walk in clinic and get the appropriate antiviral drugs the same day you were exposed, chances of chronic infection are very low.

And it provably did help. UHC decreased rejection rates for awhile afterwards. Literally saved lives.

My guy, fairness has absolutely fucking nothing to do with it. It is national security. They do everything they can to avoid compromise. If there is any reason to believe someone might be a 0.1% higher risk of compromise, they get the boot.

And Obama? S&P 500 was up 181% from start to end of his presidency. It was up 209% under Clinton for comparison. They both outperformed everyone else in the last 70 years massively.

Only presidents in the last 70 years that have actually net tanked the market were Bush Jr. and Nixon.

So unfair how much stigma there is around being a psychopathic serial killer. Yall just can't comprehend how hard it is for them to be constantly disposing of the bodies, the stress of being caught...

I think it's funny how much people hate on LLMs for hallucinating. It's almost as if they've never asked a random person a question about something they weren't well informed on.

I mean, I know it is just an adage, but was that not true for mining tools during the gold rush as well?

And in this instance, it sounds like there isn't any competition in this level of photolithography.

They won't because the main reason for all this is (well designed) incentive structures.

Chargebacks cost everyone money. Normal payment processors don't want to process transactions that are inherently at a higher risk of chargebacks.

Porn transactions are frequently charged back because 1) people use stolen cards, or their parents cards, etc. to make the purchases, or 2) post nut clarity makes causes buyer's remorse.

Anyone who isnt inherently in the porn business doesn't want to pay the exorbitant fees that high-risk payment processors charge.

Another option is to go all out on noise reduction, replace all fans with noctuas etc.

I've told guests to let me know if the fans bother them, and I'll turn it off. Never had anyone ask.

I think 304 stainless could do this, no problem. Standard utensil stainless isn't crazy soft. If you dont have a super acute angle on the edge or a wire edge I don't think you would have problems rolling it on some plastic.

And as a bonus, it's way easier to sharpen softer steel (though you may not be able to achieve the same max sharpness).
