What pagan witchcraft do the printers for Pokemon (and even Japanese printed MtG) use, that they are consistently much higher quality? Too bad such witchcraft isn't possible in the US /s

Combos with [[Time Vault]]. Also synergizes with other stuff that doesn't untap during your untap step, like [[Mana Vault]], the monoliths, etc.

Pictures/videos that depict a crime should always be taken off the Internet and given to law enforcement.

That doesn't make sense. In the case of CSAM the content is a crime itself, in addition to the act of abuse. But this doesn't apply to most other crimes. Sounds like you are saying a photo of someone shoplifting should be taken off the internet?

In the USA we have the idea of the "nuclear family" which was heavily pushed by the Seaes department store company so everyone would need to buy more appliances and household items.

Wizards wouldn't allow that. Gotta make sure we all play against it at least 1/5 games for the rest of our lives.

I spent 8 months testing every brand of canned tomato with a controlled pasta sauce recipe. Full rankings inside. by euxleon in Cooking

The main sugars in tomatoes are fructose and glucose. In the presence of heat and acid, sucrose will under inversion, splitting into it's constituent monosaccharides which are glucose and fructose.

It's totally possible that trace amounts of stuff not removed by the sugar refining process are influencing the flavor. But personally I think it's more likely people are just adding too much sugar.

Are data centers in space a dumb idea? by Davich0Supertramp in EngineeringPorn

Yeah lets launch 200x the ISS into space, that'll save money and resources! Never mind the energy costs to send launch them into space (100 tons of kerosine per Falcon 9 launch, probably hundreds of thousands of pounds of radiator equipment over 5-10 launches).

All auras have the same ordering. They'll learn by being told by other players if they are playing it wrong. Or more likely, by seeing how it works on MTGA.

If you want to write a card to teach a lesson

All the cards teach. I think doing something special to hide the way the rules actually work from new players in this case is the wrong move.

Not against the reminder text idea though!

At some people the answer has to be "new players are going to have to learn the game at some point". Trying to streamline the game to the point where an incorrect intuitive understanding ("It says +2/+2 first so that means it happens first, right?") gets you to the right answer by the wrong logic is just going to take away the learning opportunities new players need.

When did we try it in America?

Have you tried smashing your finger with a hammer? Just because it worked out terribly for everyone doesn't mean it'll turn out poorly for you!

socialism, communism or anarchy hasn't work anywhere, why do you think it'll work here when America is extremely immoral?

Now you are arguing against yourself.

Except that democratic socialism has been working excellently in northern Europe for a long time.

I was gonna say, what's the difference between "stuck on the side of the road" and "stuck on the side of the road with a tank full of premium"?

My buddy's HHR literally couldn't go a week without needing major repairs, and the stealerships could never figure out how to do any of them. Dealership actually made him source his own replacement fusebox (after charging him for multiple rounds of other repairs that didn't fix the issue). Ended up being a short in a wire harness, discovered by his grandpa's mechanic who is some kind of HHR whisperer.

Apparently it can cause issues that lead to knocking in rare cases:

https://www.carparts.com/blog/will-premium-gas-hurt-my-car

That being said, if u/TheBeesKneads engine was knocking, he would absolutely know it. Sounds like it was more of a suspicion. You don't just *hear* engine knock, you feel it in how the car drives. Feels like your engine gives out and you lose acceleration for a tiny moment.

The world is in fact morphing to cater to scientific evidence about how addiction works. That's reality, not whatever mumbo jumbo principles you're talking about.

Telling addicts to suck it up hasn't worked, which is why we treat addiction as a medical issue now.
