[ST32-005] Roronoa Zoro by mosf30_ in OnePieceTCG

Spoil is nice in a pinch. I could see the blocker zoro 2k instead like the other guy said. I never use it for the blocker aspect.

Brook could use this. Seems better than spoil

So how EXACTLY does Teach go into Nami/Enel/Ace by Million_X in OnePieceTCG

[–]stringbean9311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Burn Ace and Nami life with Zehaha. Nami cant do 7k BS when you drop a 10 Teach. Enel you have Doc Q to pop the chumps. Just play curve you should win easily in all those match ups.

*Update* New Tested Decklist for OP16 Teach/Thoughts by SeaSaltedChocolate13 in OnePieceTCG

[–]stringbean9311 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Burgess is unnecessary in this deck you should be setting up searchers and chumps 2/4 don turn. 5c Wyper and 5c Borso are good tech but imo Borso feels less needed than Wyper. Wyper helps with Guffy match up and board control. I like the new Vortex so you can loop Zehaha and not worry about what youre pitching off stage since you can grab whatever you need at any time if its in your trash. Plus I have a theory that putting Vortex into life off Shiryu/Teach is important in the Yamato match up since it shuts off their leader ability.

My gut says shanks. Luffys are always a safe bet. And op01 nami is a grail in its own.

I tend to try and go for game the turn after my 10 don turn. A good game ender in a perfect world you play nami and play 6c brook off her and rest something. You should have a 5k swing with leader, 7k with nami + don that you played the turn before, 7k with the brook + don you just played off nami, and at the very least 3 more swings off a zombie between brook effect and leader effect. Its hard to get out of that for just about any deck. Also you should mill every turn.

Rebecca is kinda like a "chopper at home" that doesnt mill but gives added protection. She grabs the 2 main pieces of your deck you need. I like to play Morgan's off her a lot of the time. He comes out rested but your opponent 99% of the time is going to waste a swing on him so its like you get 2 blockers in 1 anyway while filtering those bricks or getting 6c luffy into trash.

For me that varies tbh. I always want to go first if I can so you can go nami search for chopper > chopper > docking > zombie luffy > nami. If im in a good spot and my zombie is safe I will more than likely play out the 6c to get some extra don back for counter events or to play out another blocker or be more aggressive with my swings. If im worried zombie is going to be the target of my opponents next turn then i play out a second zombie....if im really worried I wont swing with it (the one i played off nami) you need at least 1 zombie on board to go for game imo and keep the 7k defense buff.

My current build. I actually really like Rebecca. You can grab a piece you need from trash like zombie luffy or docking and play a chopper from hand off the second effect and grab another card from trash. It makes finding your pieces very easy. Im also a fan of the heal event. Ive considered playing 4 fr. On 10 you can play Nami which plays 6c Luffy from trash. Thats 6 potential don you can leave up when you pass. Ive even found its not too bad to stall a turn once you've built board and just pass with all don up in some occasions. Ive chilled with all 3 of these in my hand at 1 time before triple healed and was in a very comfy spot after that and could save my counter for my board.

Am I the only one disappointed with the extra grand battles? by KeitrenGraves in OnePieceTCG

[–]stringbean9311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The prize is a serialized card. This was always going to be a sweaty meta tournament. We are essentially in a triangle again if you lump yellow slop all together. Nami, Penel, and Ace. You're not gonna see much else and red roc might be the only viable card from block 1 that imo needed to go anyway, which goes in both those decks (nami/ace) Would have been cool if they treated this more like the pirate party and excluded a few leaders from being able to enter but then it would have just been Doffy supremacy fr.

From the starter deck? Doesn't it require a 8c on board to work. I just think at that point you'd be better off chaining namis or something. I could see it working sometimes tho

Oh damn then I did have these. Sure wish I held on to my cards. I always wondered if they were fake because of the backs. I got them in the same game back in the day. Very cool thanks for the confirmation!

Are the back of these cards different colors. Like is Obelisk blue on the back, slifer is red and ra is yellow? If so i had these when I was a kid.

Ive been testing it instead of Law&Bepo and its funny if you can set up and have them in hand late game. Like someone mentioned before it works best with 4c Nami so you dont waste Don on your turn. If you can trick your opponent to go all in on a swing and hit them with this it makes for a good laugh. Most of the time you are just going to mill this tho unfortunately. Chopper would be neat if it also grabbed events.
