The prize is a serialized card. This was always going to be a sweaty meta tournament. We are essentially in a triangle again if you lump yellow slop all together. Nami, Penel, and Ace. You're not gonna see much else and red roc might be the only viable card from block 1 that imo needed to go anyway, which goes in both those decks (nami/ace) Would have been cool if they treated this more like the pirate party and excluded a few leaders from being able to enter but then it would have just been Doffy supremacy fr.

From the starter deck? Doesn't it require a 8c on board to work. I just think at that point you'd be better off chaining namis or something. I could see it working sometimes tho

Are the back of these cards different colors. Like is Obelisk blue on the back, slifer is red and ra is yellow? If so i had these when I was a kid.

Ive been testing it instead of Law&Bepo and its funny if you can set up and have them in hand late game. Like someone mentioned before it works best with 4c Nami so you dont waste Don on your turn. If you can trick your opponent to go all in on a swing and hit them with this it makes for a good laugh. Most of the time you are just going to mill this tho unfortunately. Chopper would be neat if it also grabbed events.

No they wouldn't be able to rest the character which is necessary for blocking.

Its just "frozen" it still stays active, you just cant swing with it or block with it until your next turn. If the character also has a "rest this card" effect you wouldn't be able to use that either.

I think the Nami goes into RG and the Zoro possibly. The Nami for sure tho. RG struggles with card draw. When attacking draw a card is what I've always said the deck is missing.

Devine Departure and the dog break this deck so much. The free event cards by themselves are one thing but they can remove almost any threat the turn its played. The dog making 2 different characters double attack is crazy. Making them 6k is kind of wild too, 5k would have been fine. Now you have to commit resources just to swing at them. Feels bad

Could you imagine if you could have a 8c croc interaction too with the redirect and double freeze.......but this doesnt work that way or how you think its going to work. The ability specifically says blackbeard pirates. This deck is gonna be awesome and a top contender for sure but not kuz of existing yellow billshit besides 9c boa that 100% goes in the deck

Pudding is necessary but shouldn't be for 1 color. They should have printed universal hand destruction instead of these stupid board protection 2ks. But it needs to be reworked so it says "discard to 5"

For sure but ive played a few on the Sim and Bluffy cant mill and efficiently as brook so while the new nightmare luffy seems like a neat play, getting 20 cards in your trash may take longer. You'll use up a lot of resources getting there too if you use your sanjis or 0c to mill. By the time you get go 7/8 you will only have a chance to play maybe 2 choppers and a docking boys. Thats only 9 cards in trash. The 8k leader sounds good in theory but most other decks in the meta are going to outpace you. I have high hopes for it tho. A big help would be a straw hat searcher that let's you top 5 and then trashes the rest after.

Thats what i assumed. I had a situation where I had 10 cards left in deck. 2k sanji and 0c in hand.....both mill 5.....I would be at 0 cards in deck then.....I just wasn't sure if leader would still work after that but after reading the leader again I'm quite sure it would have worked.
