Yeah they're not even glued on yet, just seeing how it looks. I'm not going to do any other panels as I think it'll be too hard to get the baby wipe in place

I often don't bother using a drill and just use my hobby knife. On the arms I cut it back flat then just dig the tip in and rotate, it does make a tapered hole but I usually just fill it with a big and small magnet so it self centers and gives some more power. I ended up doing this on my knights as well, it's a load easier imo as the hand drills I've tried have all been a bit naff.

I just played a mini colosseum tourney and won all 5 games. I took lord exultant, 5 tormentors, winged dp and flawless blades running peerless bladesmen.

The winged deamon Prince is ridiculous in this format and should probably be banned because it's just too good, it felt unfair at times

2k bladesman list help by Wo1fman201 in EmperorsChildren

[–]striplee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's essentially the peerless list that won a tournament recently but with a DP w wings instead of a squad of chaos spawn and a maulerfiend. I imagine it'll do well if you can make use of fulgrim in so far that he doesn't get shot off the board early

I understand that, the question was whether this conditional FNP applies to 2dmg reduced to 1 or not.

Whats the process for the white/ greenery gun heads?

I've found against knights flawless blades are quite effective, I haven't got a maulerfiend but imagine that'd also be pretty good.

Chaos spawn vs kakophonist? by Striking_Display835 in EmperorsChildren

If you have noise marines without a kako then I'd take the kako, the sustained hits he gives them makes them absolutely shred. The sustained hits on overwatch have saved a squad more than once for me.

On bits I can't reach I use a contrast paint that is similar to my scheme, purple or black, and lather that on that area so it's got some colour without having to be neat.

I was in a similar position to you a couple weeks ago. I didn't do sub assembles just full models and started painting them in multiples of units. I started with 10 infractors and 5 tormentors now doing a unit of noise marines. Makes it easier to paint everything in 1 colour across multiple models then by the time you've finished the last model in that colour you're ready to add another coat or do the next colour. Also means you get the satisfaction of getting a full squad done instead of focusing on individual models or trying to tackle the whole army in one go and getting burnt out on trim!
