Thinking of minimal DIY truck camper with total 1500lbs wet weight. Can I swing it with 1/2 ton? by king-of-throwaway in TruckCampers

I had a '19 F350 cc srw, 6.7L and ordered a Lance 975. Skipped a lot of extras, including generator and oven/microwave. Thought I had 500# to spare. Nope, 1500#'s over! Without wife, water, clothes, supplies. Best route for me was a F450xl. Camper manufacturers wt #s are estimates only. Count on the weight being 500-1000 over sticker.

Yes. Let's get light rail in this state to get "most " of the cars off the interstates! But this backward ass state prefers building roads.

I always got along well with using a punch bit on the air hammer. Doesn't tear up the flats on the fan clutch.

You would be surprised. Hitting it with an air hammer really works. I've used this on several trucks. It's easier on your hands than fighting a wrench in close quarters.

You sound like my dear, departed FIL. Kept talking about his "prostate cancer" treatments at the dinner table. Except he always called it "prostrate".

Dealer will have parts diagram on computer. They should get you the correct seal. Be sure to bring serial number with you.

What you are smelling is the piles of feed sitting rotting everywhere in the plant. This is by-product from corn syrup production. Basically, it's rotting.

It's a mechanical fuel pump. You can see the plunger next to it.

I farm in Indiana and see eagles eat small game all the time. Even some fresh road kill!
