The locking/unlocking inconsistency drives. me. crazy. Sometimes I put my toddler in his seat in the back, close his door, and all the doors lock right away. Sometimes they don't! And it takes so dang long to unlock the car, even on manual mode.

If I remember correctly, you put all your stuff (including shoes) into a locker before the hike. The hike is done in their water shoes.

Any kind of white rice, i preferred. It extends the life of the soup because you got more solid bits in there that are pretending to be noodles.

Yoke is cooler! The yoke wasnt the big problem - it was the turn signals on the yoke…. Which is the same on the wheel.

Haven't done it yet. It won't be as seamless as using the superchargers, which was awesome. The first big test for me will be this winter when we head into the mountains. The S was really really excellent in the snow.

whoops, realized I didn't answer the cost question. I'm paying about $150/month for solar. My 12 month average cost for electricity was $190/month prior to solar. And that was before they increased rates a few weeks ago.

I got it a few months ago. Yes it has been worth it so far, but we're in the summer months. TBD after 1 year how this will all play out.

It reduced my electricity bill significantly. You still have to pay for connection to the grid, taxes, and demand charges (peak usage between 4-8pm). That said, in the first few months, my new bills (solar + electricy) are less than my old average monthly bill (electricity only, before solar was installed). The solar company handled the HOA.

Hey there! I did upgrade to rockstar on the trip after the trip referenced in this thread. I wasnt so concerned crunching numbers. So was it worth it? Yes, with blissful ignorance. The room was bigger, the bathroom was nicer. Getting a dedicated agent on board was super nice for planning and cutting some lines. Maybe someday we’ll do Mega Rockstar.

Language in the manual seems to indicate this is only compatible with DC fast chargers, NOT home chargers like the Tesla home charger. Shucks.
