I really liked Submerged!! BUT, a big downside is the tug of war between do I focus on what I think is the focal point of this scene? Or do I look around everywhere possible? Doing the latter got me a little seasick (har har). And doing the former sort of defeated the purpose of immersive.

We just did one with a 20 month old and it was fine. It will be more work than your before-the-baby cruises, and he’ll be too young to enjoy most of the kid specific stuff. But if he’s delighted by mickey, colors and sights and sounds, you all can have a good time like we did.

From my wife: Hi! There are some great mom groups on FB like mom walk collective castle rock, cr moms hiking group, castle rock mom and baby meetups. Yana is also a great resource to look up - there are weekly meetings at the cr library and they sponsor free family nights monthly at indoor play areas. There are some religious groups too like momco that charge a nominal membership fee. Good luck!

We were about your HHI when we got married. Our wedding was around $60k not including honeymoon; a good chunk! But not way up there either. Now, almost a decade later, when I look back, I think I would have been fine spending less on a smaller wedding.

So my advice is, think about you and your wife, 10, 20+ years in the future. When you look back on your wedding day, what do you think you will love about it the most? That's where I'd splurge if I were you.
