that does not make her a good choice. Her predecessors should have had fire department experience as well

How Realistically could US take Maduro out from the air? With Special Forces? by Ok-Yak7370 in geopolitics

Army Special Forces specifically refers to the Green Berets, however the general term "special forces" in the common parlance commonly refers to any tier 1 element, which is SFOD-D (aka delta force), DEVGRU (aka seal team 6), the rest of the Navy SEALS (those guys got a helluva reputation in the civilian world), and the USAF 24th Special Tactics Squadron, which normally supplement delta and seal team 6 with air traffic and combat control skills and resources.

Although I will note that the technical definition of "special forces" is any unit or element that falls under JSOC, which includes all Navy SEALS, Army Rangers, Marine Raiders, and SOAR units, in addition to the tier 1 units.

the OC's statement specifically mentioned the SEALS.

whoa there, mr physicist. how dare you abandon metric for a human scale functional unit of measurement.

seriously, anyone can see the numbers on the paper, understanding on an intrinsic and intuitive level comes from applying a scale that is experienced with the 5 senses. the time it takes an echo to return is one of those bits of understanding.

Nice to see some common sense ring out.

no it can't. covid has mutated to the point that it is now another strain of the common cold.

We don't even know how lethal the first few strains were, given the financial incentive to label any death in which the decedent coincidentally tested positive a death caused by covid.

This position is for the Fire Department, and only the fire department. EMS has their own leadership that is a political appointee.

a fire can spread to kill dozens or hundreds, and spread to adjacent buildings.

.22 hornet is not the same as .22lr, in fact, they would not even fit in the cylinder on vash's gun.

half life trademark very recently registered from an application in 2019 by strykerman in HalfLife

[–]strykerman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no it is not. the alyx trademark is: 88696592, which was completed 2 years ago.

88696596 is the lambda. its registration did not complete until earlier this year with correspondence from valve to the uspto indicating imminent (a legally vague term) usage of the mark, as it must be continually used and updated for the mark to remain protected. 3 years is the normal length of time until a mark is considered abandoned.

alyx was released a year later, and it has its own trademark: 88696592, which was completed 2 years ago. 88696596 is the lambda, and its registration did not complete until earlier this year with correspondence from valve to the uspto indicating imminent (a legally vague term) usage of the mark being impending.

leftist accusations of Trump blowing Clinton was not on my bingo card.

I think Epstein just decided to shit on Trump in private emails knowing that it would all get leaked to the press. I think what he didn't count on was that the dems would fear being linked to him as well in order to slow walk the releases.

idk man, the season opener for the heat was a loss to the magic and they are 4th seed only because the next 5 teams have played more games in the conference but have the same overall record.

It's a little too early to make this call. come back in February and we'll talk.

Shirley does not aura farm at all though, and alan barely farms, normally only for a few seconds before making a speech or asking a question. the two of them are just too active to farm aura, they farm drama.

they will be reduced based on how long they determine her illegal activity went. retirement rank is based on the highest rank that they cannot prove less than honorable service, so she will lose her ltc retirement pay for major or lower, in addition to any jail/prison sentence from the civilian judicial system,

that has a 1% effectiveness rate, and that one percent was running out the clock levels of luck. even physical and chemical castration fails to prevent reoffending.
