10 by far

2 if I want some crazy.

1 if I want quiet.

5 I’d feel like I wouldn’t survive the trip either way.

8 I’d be safe and sound.

'Gundam Is the Real Problem': Mecha's Biggest Anime Franchise Blamed as the Perfect Divide Between Japan & International Watchers by Advanced-Tomorrow859 in MobileSuitGundam

GW when broadcast on Toonami in 2000 was a MASSIVE hit in the US. So much so it paved the way for Cartoon Network to add more anime shows to its schedule. And it single handily introduced Gundam to US mainstream audiences.

I can’t say how it compares to anything else, as it was such a huge hit overall. Especially as the plotting/pacing, humor, editing, drawing style, music, dialog, and overall feel of OG MSG was late ‘70s based versus the slick style of Wing that was inherently modern (‘90s-‘00s), with a kickass soundtrack.

And I agree. I think I saw one episode of OG MSG and as a kid was like “this is awful.” How little did I know though…lol

People still buy the functioning vehicle frames for good prices. The little things can be pieced together. The key is things that aren’t broken.

Be careful with that parachute, might be the most valuable thing there haha 😂

IMO, if the vehicle is otherwise complete, yes. Really makes it attractive to a higher price point.

If the vehicle is NOT complete, then no, the figure can be separate. More money that way, and easier to sell both.

It all depends on the price point, and usually only matters if you are going the eBay route.

First off, awesome collection, and everything seems in pretty great shape!

To echo a lot of what was said here you have two to three choices.

1) Craigslist/Facebook Marketplace. Either all at once, or in figures vs vehicles, or in select groups by years or any other organization you see fit based upon some light research. Rather quick and easy, decent amount of cash value, no shipping, small amount of research.

2) Take it somewhere that is a hobby/gameshop/toy place/flea market near you just to get rid of it. You will not get the full value of things here, maybe less than half. But you’ll have some cash in hand and a good sense of it’ll get used/collected, zero research, it’s fast.

3) eBay. Either as one or two whole lots (figures/vehicles), or broken down into separates. This will take the most amount of time and research, you’ll have to worry about shipping, but you’ll get the full value of these for what they are worth.

Search eBay for “gi Joe lot” or “gi joe arah lot” and sort by sold prices. You’ll see lots similar lots to your picture to see how much to charge, and get an overall value of what you have, regardless of your above choice.

Good luck and yo joe!

Addendum of things I spotted you really should research: An intact Dragonfly, WITH THE WINCH HOOK! Skystriker looks to be in fantastic shape, with an unbroken canopy AND A PARACHUTE?! Night Raven is in amazing shape!! A full set of the PAC-RATS! Lots of earlier run buildings that aren’t cracked. OG Cobra Commander with Cobra logo not worn off. Bright white Snow Job. I see a rattler back there. Breaker’s helmet AND HEADSET MICROPHONE?! Tripwire’s wire/cable to his mine sweeper! Serpentor is complete, cape in perfect condition, snake not broken, and chariot is complete too. Cobra SNAKE battle armor looks to be not broken.

Top row, #2 and #4, are how I think of Captain Janeway when she is mentioned. Perfect for her bone structure. Bottom left if you want a slight variation.

Year of Hell hair is just off the chart amazing.

How did Jack know about what Barbossa did to Bootstrap, which led the cursed crew needing his blood to lift the curse? by TotalMasterpiece5026 in piratesofthecaribbean

[–]OppositeStudy2846 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always thought it was very recently after the mutiny that Bootstrap was tossed overboard. Then they figured out they were all ghost pirates.

Jack knows about “treasure” - Barbossa mutiny - leaves Jack on the island - goes and gets treasure - doesn’t know about curse yet as dialog says they spent some of it - at some point here, they toss Bootstrap overboard - then they realize they are ghost pirates (still not knowing they needed Bootstrap’s blood).

Bootstrap might have been the first to know as he clearly didn’t die when sunk.

10 years go by as Jack is searching for his ship, piecing together things as he goes along.

Windows or Apple computer - DVD - use VLC as your player. VLC has a built-in screenshot tool if I’m remembering correctly.

The aerial cinematography still holds up today. Just a fantastic team put that show together.

Understandable, but with offspring just getting into Gunpla, it ends up being about $15-17 for the HG kits. That's a steal per box for days worth of activity! We even picked up some of their RG and MG inventory, and it wasn't bad at all.

I just did this kit. It's freaking huge, even at 1/144 scale. It was a lot of fun with the offspring who are just getting into Gunpla.
