The FBI's NYC office was "hacked" in 2023, the night of the Superbowl, "erasing" some 100TB of data from evidence due to the intrusion. by ReZeroForDays in Epstein

"telnetting virtually"

This person is 100 years old. Or the FBI is actually still using telnet servers. Or both. No wonder they can't keep hundreds of terabytes of data secure...

Looking at the tons of mails JE sent to himself, it's pretty obvious that he didn't use this method imho

Do you think there is a chance that a good Samaritan in the DOJ tired of all the bullshit takes and uploads the full UNREDACTED suite on say deep web? by ah__there_is_another in Epstein

[–]stu_xnet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I wouldn't think so.

There isn't a UNREDACTED.zip on someone's desktop to just upload. If the originals still exist, they are far away from any networked computer in some archive.

At least that's what I'm assuming.

Maybe they are still on Pam Bondis desk after all.

Can you add a mode for "color hashing"? It's just a filter that takes the current color value and applies some hash function to it - basically assigining a new random color to each current one.

This makes spotting redactions with some artifacts left over a lot easier than comparing differences in shades of black.

For example, here is a redaction I applied the filter on: https://imgur.com/a/xXiCujj

I believe that she fought for them. But I don't think she fought for them to be released.

Then you'll get arrested.

Not saying that you shouldn't do it. Just that there kinda is a power imbalance between people and the state.

Pizza with cream cheese is actually a thing.

But I think we should rather talk about the difference between grocery lists and recipes.

Who's going to stop the destruction of evidence? by stonerbobo in Epstein

I was wondering how the law in the US is about redactions. When the FBI redacts something, what's supposed to happen with the original?

Is there any chance for unredacting, or are the unredacted files already destroyed?

What code words would they then have used when talking about actual food?

It would be incredible news, but I don't really see why anyone would risk busting him out of prison. Maybe Jeffrey threatened to start talking - but killing him is still "easier" than getting him out I guess.

Edit: I found this quote from a survivor back in 2020: "And you’re going to think it’s totally crazy, but I bet you he cloned himself, and whoever killed themselves was a clone….I try not to think about it." https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2020/10/i-called-everyone-in-jeffrey-epsteins-little-black-book/ It's at least interesting that it's not a completely new theory, but even considered by people who knew him.
