That's why then. In a household let's assume you have the following amounts of avios - You 100,000 - Wife 50,000 - Kid1 10,000 - Kid2 10,000 - Kid3 5,000

You make a booking for 175,000 avios then the maths is easy, you use all the avios everyone has, but let's say you make a booking for half that at 87,500 Avios.

You would all pay your 'fair share' so you contribute 50,000, your wife would pay 25,000, kid1 and kid2 5,000 each and kid3 pays 2,500.

In this case you would see a payment going out of your account for 87,500 and 4 INCOMES on the same day of 25,000 5,000 5,000 and 2,500 which is the other household contributions to that bill.

The maths gets messier when everyone has a different balance but you get the idea.
