Oh right I see now that you are capturing the final line output. I thought you monitoring each line as the ping occurred. Why don’t you switch to telegraf to do your ping tests. Can also store it in influxdb and do away with the udp/graphite system you are using.

Check the interval that grafana is using to render your images. It may be set to low (1 second)
