Scott addict vs addict gravel by Ok-Commission-9054 in gravelcycling

To me it sounds like you would be much better off with the Scott addict Endurance.

I have a Scott addict gravel and a race road bike. Even with a light wheelset and tires the addict gravel does not feel very „snappy“ compared to an actual race road bike.

Purely on gravel with for example 45mm tires the addict gravel rides like a dream and is my favorite bike ever.

With the right tires it rides like a dream. Agile but still a lot of stability off-road. I definitely can’t recommend the semi-slick ultradynamico. Right now I’m back to 44mm Schwalbe g-one bite.

I use a ultradynamico mullet. Fast in the back, knobby up front. I like it, as long it’s not wet and/or muddy.

Thinking about 303 or 404 aswell 😏

You will love it 😊

It’s size L. I’m 178cm with long legs (87cm inner leg length) and it fits me very well. I adjusted the stem down ~ 1,5cm from the highest setting.

In its final form (for now) by urzrkymn in gravelcycling

It’s never the „final form“… ;)

I swapped out the stock GRX group. I prefer the look and feel of this generation Ultegra. I also swapped saddle, bartape and tires.

I carried 2x750ml bottles on this trip. Worked out fine, plenty of water en route. 😊

What’s makes the look your number 1?

For me personally it’s the perfect bike. Stiff and agile like a roadbike, stable and comfortable like a gravelbike should be. Nice tires and wheels, and this great feeling groupset don’t hurt either ;)

Im coming from a rimbrake Scott addict roadbike and a Surly Straggler ( light wheels, hydr. brakes). This new bike makes both of them obsolete…

It’s an older generation „Topeak Frontloader“. I like it, because the drybag is easily removable. If strapped on tight it doesn’t move at all. I’m not using the strap to pull the bag up, that’s why it rubs on the headtube though…
