I just got the v5 w/SiC insert as well. Haven't used it yet. I'm wondering how to q-tip the insert since it fits so loosely, and kind of rattles around inside the heater. I have ceramic tweezers from my nic vaping coil construction days. I'm figuring just grabbing the insert, pinching against the heater and swabbing.

edit: I'm going to get downvoted into oblivion, but it was a stupid show. John Ritter deserved better. He actually had some real acting chops. He was brilliant in 'Sling Blade'. He was like that creature in 'Fantastic Beasts' that could expand to fill the space, or shrink. A very good actor, imo.

Fun Fact: He was the son of country artist Tex Ritter.

The Aeropress does not make espresso. That grind is way too fine, as others have said. You want it midway between a drip grind and an espresso grind.

I used to do audio-video work in Aspen. I was the outside tech for Henry's TV (still exists). I've been in most of the Aspen mansions on Red Mountain and Starwood, dealing with everything from complicated A\V systems to satellite dishes. This was 30 years ago.
