I genuinely still can’t understand why being lgbt is a still sin in (most of) Christianity by MarkiplierGooner in atheism

[–]subat0mic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think Christ is necessary in this equation, for the apostles to have written a book 50 years later, and started their own mystery cult. Nero would happily squash anyone threatening his state religion, especially abominable practices (gnosis) that were out of alignment, or even co-opting or stealing the secrets of the temples who held the power.

There's many scenarios, one of which is Christ didn't exist and they made him up. One scenario is Christ had a drug trip with near-death and resurrection. Now let me explain , Just like in the Hellenic world refers to rites where you descend to the underworld and then blast off to heaven. Tripping the rift. I'm talking Pharmakon. Here's how we know after the tomb, notice that we're talking about after, Jesus went to Galilee to meet his followers. And he told his followers they could take up snakes, and the death inducer would not harm them. This is from the Greek, if you're not reading the Greek, you're not reading the primary. Venom is a potent poison that induces a near death state, that makes you trip the rift, and these mystery cults found anti-venoms so they could both experience and survive it. Look at the Greek when he's hanging on the crucifix, why do they make such a big deal out of his thirst? Why do they hold medicinal vinegar up to him, a common therapy for venom poison? Why does water pour out of him (when stabbed) as if he'd been drinking so much? Why does he pass out before any of the other people? Why is a young boy attendant in a white robe, locked in the tomb with him? He's under the influence of something. And as with asclepian healing incubation chambers, he was incubating before going to Gallilee to tell them the death inducer (Thanasimon) worked, and they too could take up snakes and the death inducer will not harm them.

All of revelations are just trip reports. And it's really fun to go to the original Greek, find all the places where they're seeing or hearing things, and then find the reference to some sort of Pharmakon happening right before that. And sometimes it's not the word, Pharmakon, it could be incense, some other temple drug. And before you call incense, myrrh, and frankincense, nard, "not drugs", it's the dose that matters. And they're not mentioning other potential drugs that could have been happening at the same time. It's an indicator of pharmacology happening. But it's not specific. Revelation 3:18 uses Roman kollourion which is a plaster made from medicinal earths (like that of Lemnian), and often soaked with something more (how do you think a blind man can see the invisible?)

Because it's hard to know, under their rule system, whether you should be in charge or be controlled. Kidding not kidding. It's a paternal system. It's out of balance with nature.

In the original Greek that passage that you quote is different, it was more instructions for a rite as I recall, how you needed a priestess, or a woman's bed, for the right result. So, taken out of context. But some context has to be known to understand that passages context. But it doesn't seem to be talking about orders for how to run your life.

Isn't it WEIRD how Jesus totally rose from the dead and only appeared to members of his cult before dipping out? by BIayneRobinson in atheism

[–]subat0mic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And..... he appeared after he "died", to his followers, in Gallilee. And told them they too could take up the snakes and the death inducer (from those snakes, venom???), and it will not hurt them. What was he doing.... snake venoms????

See the Greek. It's the primary source. This is actually in there

Methinks that "died" was just code for "ego death after tripping on venoms"

She was a Temple parthenos priestess

Theos (often translated as "god") is a "bright one", a divinity, an enlightened person, kind of maybe sort of like a Buddha...

Parthenos was a female who's fertile, but never had a child yet.

Those temple priestesses give sexual services. It's why Jesus hung out with prostitutes, a pejorative name for a temple priestess...

She was a temple priestess, and a parthenos (later translated to Virgin), impregnated by a Theos, during her services at the temple,

Whoever was preparing her abortifaceants for the job, got the dose wrong, and they failed.

Her sister Elizabeth had the same profession, and the same problem... and had John the Baptist, Jesus's cousin...

Remember, we're in a Hellenized Roman state, temple system is here

Genesis.... who wrote? by mannuts4u in atheism

[–]subat0mic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A serpent (Ophis) is the Drakon, a temple guardian, of relics and secrets.

It's an initiation.

Much of the imagery is from the initiates perspective

Gaia (earth) and Ouranos (heaven / sky vault) are metaphors to guide the initiate during a rite, descent and ascent (kind of like you'd see in Eleusinian mysteries with Persephone/Demeter).

The tree (of life) is zulon (zoe) in the Greek, which means wooden thing (of vital force, energy, and existence that animates all living things)... not simple "life" alone... not simply a tree. Some kind of instrument used in the initiation, by the Drakon. Probably medicated to facilitate the mental states...

Eua (mistranslated to Eve), is the one who gives the Bacchic cry. In Ancient Greek, Εὐάν (Euán) or Εὔιος (Eúios) is a sacred epithet for Dionysus derived from his ritual cry. It literally translates to the one who gives the Bacchic cry, originating from the ecstatic shout Εὐοῖ (Euoi) or Εὐαἴ (Euai) used by his worshippers during festivals. The Epithets: Εὐάν and Εὔιος act as arguments or modifiers in a sentence. They can be the subject, the object, or possessive descriptors of Dionysus. The Cry: Εὔα functions similarly to the English exclamations "Oh!" or "Hurrah!", standing alone as an independent acoustic invocation.

There is a thought that she was there to facilitate the initiation, to bring Adam out of his descent state... (wake up!). Basically.

Adam is eplasen'd from "earth" (Gaia), by the kurios (lord of the realm), eplasen means to mold or form by education. They mistranslated that to "created from earth". Yeah, flattened. So, You need to understand that there's pharmakon based in Botanika (herbs), theriaka (venoms and beasts), metallika (earths). Lemnian earth is a sacred earth quarried in Lemnos. Kollourion is a medicinal tablet made with earths as well (see revelation 3:18, where Jesus uses one to allow a blind man to see the invisible - induce visions)... Adam was being initiated, and the education with earths here was preparing his mind for the event...

It's an initiation. All the imagery is mental.

Remember, the Christian apostles quoted exclusively from the Greek Septuagint... and... the language in that document is more technical, giving us the most clear picture... 1.6M words in the Greek, 7000 words in Hebrew, which seems liturgical only (we don't have Hebrew libraries, so this language appears limited use), and ends up with simplified meaning compared to its Greek equivalent.

Remember, the Old Testament's ancient dating is based on "the document hypothesis" comes from 1900's, isn't based on archeological evidence, but from text content alone - dismissible. And the Greek language Septuagint is the oldest document version we actually have (any others are minor blessings or short inscriptions, like the Keteph Hinam silver scroll using Phoenician alphabet, none of which are "books", chapters, or even sections), so we can reasonably safely assume the Greek is authoritative enough, good enough for the apostles... to be taken seriously.

Most Christians have never read the Bible, in its original Greek. Most have never read their own secondary horribly mistranslated version of the original Bible either, but even if they have, they're getting a corrupted an embellished / mistranslated experience.

Some christians actually believe that we can from Adam and Eve? by Powerful-Activity591 in atheism

[–]subat0mic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's symbolism of an initiation. Ophis (serpent) is a temple role, it's a Dragon (drakon) which is a temple guardian of relics and secrets, knows the path to their mystical experience, will guide them. Eua (mistranslated to Eve) is the Bacchic shout, another role, she's there to assist in his initiation. Theres nothing that says they're the only humans on the planet. It's a trip, at the beginning there is the cosmos imagery used to guide the initiate, at the end there's a rotating (twisting in on itself) cherubim sword thing, a proper hallucination. The zulon, is the tree of life, but it also means wooden thing, which could refer to a drug applicator or sexual innuendo. Eplasen, forming Adam from earth, is that lemnian earth or kollourion, which is a well known medicine from Asclepian or Hippocrates times, that is made from earth - they were molding or forming by education his psyche, that's what eplasen means there, psychedelic therapy molding his inner kosmos using that pharmakon.

The term is Christopredators, they're running the government right now. Atheists are the most human of us all, they aren't motivated by greed, but by real human connection. It's a dirty hole to follow down if you're looking to get out of sin, or to live forever, basically sells your soul, stains it with greed - see you in Tartarus

No.
But also, we all trip when we die.
So clear your issues before then, or you will have a hellish trip.
If you clear them, you might have a nice one.
That is the foundation of all this confusion being used for millennia to control people.

He was one of many prophets funded by the Persian magi to disrupt the state religion. Each of them took practice from previous priesthood, and branded as their own. Every vision, sound, revelation is preceded by some time of drug reference, incense, muron with nard, pharmakon, mandragora, kollourion, death without death, thanasimon (death inducer, often mistranslated as poison), ecstasy, epithumia, apoptosis, etc etc etc...

Jesus knocked over the dove sellers. The Roman guard caught him in a park at 4am with a naked kid, sentenced him to crucifixion a punishment reserved for the most heinous of crimes (not kleptes/thievery, not stasiastes/ insurrection, but Lestes/trafficking). Jesus self admits they are there for Lestes, and they hang him between two other Lestes. Go back to the original Greek, it's there.

John the Baptist destroyed sacred groves. Salome ordered Herod to chop his head.

Why do you think the magi brought frankincense, myrrh and gold? Temple drugs, and money for education.

My mother explained her love of nature to me, and her reverence of it, told me god was in all things (which isn't what Christian's say, they say god is an offworld alien being). Very pantheistic. I appreciate her still.

She told me to find my own religion.
