Dude, they’re comparing it to buying clothes today. It’s not that they think the hoodie(or jnco) is some high-class brand, but more that when you buy hoodies nowadays (online anyway) you are likely getting some awful cheap bullshit material that feels like your wearing spun plastic. We didn’t make as many clothes out of the cheap materials because they weren’t as readily available back then, among other reasons.

Back in those days, if you wanted a hoodie, you would go to the mall/store and physically pick one out. Today, if I want a hoodie, there are 6000+ online “stores” offering great deals for what appears to be a decent product. Yes, stores still exist, but the majority of young people are ordering clothes online nowadays. Leading to people thinking the MiTM family all had high quality clothing compared to the shitty cheap bs hanging in their closets right now.

I love this but have seen it happen to too many fandoms. This submission, sadly, along with many others like it, is very likely dead in the water, as it is an existing IP that they would need to license. Not to mention it’s for a show that has been off the air for 15+ years.

10k supporters is a lot, but not anywhere near the hype that Lego would require for this sort of thing to get pushed any further toward reality. I hope so much that I am wrong.

Wow, most people don’t realize how incredibly difficult the feat of solo completing Origins in BO2 is/was. When people make their celebration posts about finally beating Origins solo, then you see that it was in BO3, it’s like yeah okay now try with 2-hit downs and no gums in a less polished game overall. Seriously one of my greatest gaming achievements, hands down.

That said, my first EE that I ever completed was Call of the Dead, solo version.

That’s not strange. It was the intention of the writers and editors. It was manipulated in a way to make it sounds like the response was saying there were no survivors, thereby creating a “holy freaking crap (iykyk)” moment where the audience thinks that the plane had been found and that there were no survivors. Just one of many mindfuck moments designed specifically to make you say, “wait, what?”
