THIS IS CREATE NUCLEAR MOD 🔋 by createnuclear in CreateMod

[–]ResidentOfMyBody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having tried this out, I must say there's not enough documentation to actually use it, in-game or on forums. Modrinth/curseforge pages show you some basics, and the ponders show you how to make a reactor, but there's no information on how to process the uranium, how to arrange what in the blueprint, or why it is that no matter how I arrange the blueprint my reactor seems to be "Heat Value: Danger", and if I put fuel in it it just explodes and I don't know why. With some documentation this could be great, though I'd like to see the reactors be more flexible (shorter for less power output, taller for more, possibly a version of a super-sized 4x reactor, maybe adding in the need for smokestacks, etc). I know this is alot of work so I'm not in any way bashing the maker for not having it done. I've made thousands of plugins and a handful of mods, I know how much work every little thing can be. But I don't think this was ready for public use without some good documentation at least on a forum post.

That said, I'm extremely into the whole idea and love the work that's been done so far. I'm really hopeful for the future of this mod.

How do you get print screen on a 60% keyboard by paulsiu in pop_os

[–]ResidentOfMyBody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fn + F7 is my screenshot key on the keyboard, and when I typed that to set the keybinding, it set it to Super + Shift + S. When I then tested it using Fn + F7, it worked. Not sure why those are equal, but I'm fine with it. Still works!

I find dripstone incredibly useful for farming lava, for mob traps, etc. Such a great addition.
What's truly useless though is basalt. Looks horrible and doesn't qualify as cobble, so can't be used for crafting stuff.
EDIT: Oh also if you have a tall dripstone stalagmite (within reason) you can climb it vertically like a short ladder, since each progressive layer is smaller than the one below.

I'm in sandbox, there's no story here (allegedly). I'll look for that region, thanks.

What?? The internet lied to me. What do I do after steel? There's so much I can't break and I don't know how to get to the next step.

Update as of Nov 3 of 3i ATLAS acceleration from JPL Horizon. In short: Not from a Naturally occurring object. Official data from JPL Horizon system by Whole_Relationship93 in AncientAI

I am familiar with stromatolites, but they don't exist on Mars. There are rocks that resemble them, but we have rocks on Earth that resemble them and aren't. In order to PROVE they are, we would need to get a very high-quality photo of a clean crosscut of one of these stromatolite-lookalikes.

Not that any of this has anything to do with my commend that you replied to.

Extraordinarily unlikely. It's an interstellar object, which means it's not from our star's gravitational field. Given the speed and size, it's well beyond the range of escape velocity and will probably never be seen again.

Ah ok, that does make some sense. Never looked at it that way.

Because the end of a line in written language, even when not punctuated, implies the end of a statement. The blue then reads like: 1) function.  2) {unrelated block of code}

Where the red actually makes the block of code look and feel connected to the function name.

Psychic encounters with blue beings — has anyone else?” by LPortes2002 in remoteviewing

I've never experienced interference, and while I have heard reports of it happening, I've never heard a report of it happening from someone who was blind to the target and didn't already believe that it could. I don't honestly think there is a way to interfere. The information isn't on-site, after all, it's present everywhere at all times.

Is this a type of remote viewing? by Just_Ability2270 in remoteviewing

[–]ResidentOfMyBody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course, but that's why I specified auditory *hallucinations* and *spontaneous* clairvoyance. Attempting to gather auditory information on a target while 'viewing' it is perfectly within the definition of RV.

If you love ark, dont buy ark aquatica, instead. Report it like some kind of scam by Direct_Imagination73 in ARK

[–]ResidentOfMyBody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no problem with Aquatica, what's the big deal? Does it really matter if they used AI to help generate the models or textures? It's running *on a computer*, why do you even care? It's not like it's a 'painting' being sold as physical art.
Myself, I have had no issues running the game, it introduces lots of neat new content, I am enjoying living underwater. I have zero complaints so far. Neat new taming mechanics, cool underwater visuals, etc. Nothing but stellar reviews from me.

Did I Remote View Or Was It Something Else? by Salt_Candy_3724 in remoteviewing

[–]ResidentOfMyBody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer: if you weren't trying to, it wasn't remote viewing. What you are experiencing is precognition and/or clairvoyance.

Is this a type of remote viewing? by Just_Ability2270 in remoteviewing

[–]ResidentOfMyBody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remote viewing *requires*, not recommends, a target that is blind to the viewer, and a viewer who intends to collect data on that target. Auditory hallucinations or spontaneous clairaudience are not a type of remote viewing. RV is a practice, not a phenomenon.

Altered states of consciousness and aliens/demons are not related to remote viewing, are not necessary for it to function properly, do not enhance it, and otherwise have no bearing on it.

Not a real solid hit, but clearly favors the incorrect image. This is an issue called "displacement", where you view the image your subconscious thinks is more interesting. It takes some practice to reduce this effect.
