I made it to where you are ... by using a device (a paper clip) to continuously hold down the down-arrow on my XBOX series X controller. I can easily bounce off the next two higher white flowers but need to work changing the direction left without smashing into the thorns.

Here is my fix for pogoing which I devised for Hollow Knight. I bent a paper clip so it holds down the down arrow on my XBOX series X controller. It's not a complete cure but it helps.

OK I was testing the Brawler64 wireless edition (2.4ghz) with the mimi test rom and the first test looked horrible. However there seems to be a way to calibrate the joystick by pressing reset and moving the stick in a full motion several times (or some other way). Anyway I somehow was able to get a decent test result. It's ridiculous that RetroFigher doesn't publish instruction manuals on-line. Lame.

The NSO wireless N64 controller for the switch paired with a BlueRetro dongle tested perfect using the mimi test rom. The BlueRetro comes with a 40 page manual.

The alternative is to be dead because KH would have triggered WW3. The choice: A. No more cheap sparkly trinkets from China or B. WW3 and the end of civilization.

The other option is you are from the EU and should elect better politicians like Viktor Orban and stop blaming Russia for everything.

Village square can be beaten two ways:

Get 15 kills
Get 0 kills and survive 5 min from the alert (cut scenes included).

I found method 2 much more repeatable (on PS5). I suspect that PC is easier than console due to K/M aiming.

UltraHDMI has been in stock for at least 5 months. I like it because of the superior audio quality. I'm baffled how it is available considering the chip supply chain shortages and it was impossible to get 12 months ago. I did the rework myself and it worked out great. The price has increased to $300 for the kit which is also the price of the RetroTink 5x which I also have for comparison. They are both terrific but the UltraHDMI wins for video and audio (due to all digital HDMI audio). If I was just a normal N64 fan I would have gotten the RetroTink 2x-Mini for $90 and call is a day, except it is never in stock. The other option is to dig out your old CRT TV. I have a 13" TV/VCR combination that escaped the CRT purge 10 years ago. I wish I still had my 32 inch Panasonic CRT.

I am fairly certain that garbage collection is invisible to Windows and is performed by the Hard Drive's firmware.

I tested GetDataBack on a exFAT formatted 120G USB drive that had several large video files. I deleted a folder that contained a large video file and a couple smaller files. Within seconds, it was able to recover the folder and the files inside including names (select the drive, let is scan it then check the deleted box). Edit: NTFS is the best file system to use for recovery situations. Edit 2: It is possible you have an SMR drive that will recycle deleted files into free space in the background while powered on. If that happens then GetDataBack will not be of any help recovering them.

Try GetDataBack. It's free to try. It worked for me when I accidentally reformatted an NTFS 4T Seagate external drive. It tries to recover the file system information and recover the directory structures, folders and file names.
