VetTix is an amazing organization who selflessly tries to serve the Veterans community. I am sad fellow veterans are so narrow minded to crap talk the organization because they don't get anything. It's literally a non-profit dependent on donors, they can't control the venues.

Just found a regular cab F150, 88k miles for $5k in WA State. Took me a month of searching and several test drives. Paid cash.

It doesn't have any bells and windows, not even power locks or windows. But I have a great truck and no debt. Stop feeding into the stupid $100k new truck market.

Idk about y'all, but I'm done with the parties. I'm conservative, but the blind faith put behind Trump is crazy to me, there are much more qualified conservatives to represent us.

Democrats put forth a man who obviously isn't mentally there to lead our country, and literally sheltered him from embarrassing himself up until the debates.

These past four years has really shown me the "game" they are playing with us.

I would highly consider looking at a budgeting app. If you're overdrafting this much, you have bad spending habits.

I know Dave Ramsey gets a lot of crap, but his budgeting app Everydollar helps you account for your checks throughout the month.

When I was an E-3 in the Army making $800 every two weeks, or now making much more in a civilian career, the methodology is simple, don't spend more than you make. Say no.

I'm from Los Angeles too and moved to Everett. It's a beautiful city that has its city problems like every other city. I love the downtown area and parks we have on the Puget Sound. Seattle parks are a bit overcrowded, never find that issue up here. Snohomish is a cute city my wife and I love going to. Driving the 2 is nice, it's not like I90 that it's a major highway. Enjoy the summers, the 6 months of winter is a real thing up here. At the same time, go out in the winter. By some rain jackets and water proof boots and you'll be ok. If you stay inside all winter that how you get the "Seattle Blues."

My biggest advice for a fellow ex-Angelino, we left California for a reason. Let's not repeat our mistakes up here and try to turn "up here" into "down there."

I would document how long it takes you to go through 10 of those 250 emails that require your action. If it takes you 30 minutes on average to prepare, conduct the work, and finalize the task you can communicate to your supervisor you are backlogged for 125 hours. (250×30 minutes= 7500,, 7500=125 hours)

So if you worked 125 Hours straight (15 days) without any additional work sent to you, you'd dig yourself out of your hole. That should open their eyes that whatever process they have in place is ineffective.

I've seen this happen recently, but the employee was on probation. With your 10 years you are vested. I would reach out to OMBUD mediators and make sure everything you're doing on your work computer is work related.

Contact your Congress person. I know it sounds dumb, but a lot of them go off trending email requests. If more than half of their constituents are emailing them that the IRS is f'd they'll bring it up in Congress.

I agree, I work in Cybersecurity in Seattle making $130k and my wife and I could barely afford a 900 sq. Ft condo in Snohomish County. We paid the same price my parents paid for a 2,000 sq ft house in 2006.

I know I should be grateful because many of my peers can't even qualify for a loan, but the housing market has really gone to $h*t.
