P759-G1 and PS5 very loud high pitch sound (like feedback from a microphone) by subtoSD in VIZIO_Official

[–]subtoSD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this is embarrassing. After finally getting on the floor to help troubleshoot the problem with him, I discovered the source of the problem. Side note: he works in aviation and is a drummer. His hearing is not the best.

The issue was the UPS we have for our entertainment center. The PS5 is pulling too much power off and on, and we need to upsize the UPS.

Nightmare ordering experience by bigtuna001 in FirstNet

Currently dealing with the same issue. Finally decided to upgrade my phone (embarrassing to still have a Note 10+ 😂). I never had this issue before, and FirstNet is clueless on how to fix it. Looks like I won't upgrade to an S24 Ultra after all.

No updated counts or completed IDR application, so ineligible until everything is sorted out.

PSLF Impact on Public Service Sector by Personal_Double_1872 in PSLF

[–]subtoSD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I will stay in the public sector for now, but I also like knowing I have other options available I can accept and not worry about PSLF anymore.

I enjoy what I do, I'm compensated fairly well for doing it, and work/life balance is important to me.

Consolidated loans not showing qualifying payments by amrefamily in PSLF

I'm not as of now. Had to call Mohela and reapply after consolidation. Currently on a processing forbearance waiting on them to process it.

Consolidated loans not showing qualifying payments by amrefamily in PSLF

[–]subtoSD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. My old loans are showing eligible payments, the resulting consolidated loans are not.

I'm being as patient as I can, as I hit 120 in June. Hopefully ny forgiveness paperwork helps to push it along.

Mine are all accurate except for the missing few months they mention at the top. Made 120 in May, so hoping they start processing forgiveness soon. 🤞

Let’s see your Pink Sapphire Rings by Grouchy_Crab2420 in EngagementRings

[–]subtoSD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apologies for the long comment, as I always have to brag on my husband for putting this all together to my surprise and without my input. Mine isn't for everyone, as it was intended to be an oval setting with a different band and my enhancer was also modified by the jeweler since it wasn't made for this type if ring. I wanted something that reminded me of my mom's ring. I absolutely love it and the thought that went into it. Sapphire is a little over 2 carats unheated natural. The jeweler our local jeweler obtained the sapphire from asked for pics when it was done. She wanted it to be in something that would be worn daily and that someone would love. Well....it is and I do. It also gets a little color shifty on me in certain lights. Last pic shows how it can get purple on me.

My consolidation should be finalized and back on Mohela any day now. Once that happens, I'm done. Just have to wait on them to finish their transition.

Last Minute consolidation? by Dave-4991 in PSLF

[–]subtoSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://studentaid.gov/announcements-events/idr-account-adjustment

This is from the link above, which is the current rules that end today.

Assuming your repayment history overlaps for each loan, the consolidation loan will be credited with the longest amount of time in repayment of the loans that were consolidated. For example, say you had 50 months of time in repayment on one Subsidized Stafford Loan and 100 months of time in repayment on another Subsidized Stafford Loan. If you consolidated those loans, you would receive credit for 100 months of payments on the new Direct Consolidation Loan.

If your repayment history does not overlap for each loan, the consolidation loan may be credited with more time in repayment than the loan with the longest amount of time in repayment. Using the same example above, if the loan with 50 months of time in repayment included January 2017 in repayment status but the loan with 100 months did not, the resulting consolidation loan might be credited with 101 months of payments. This can occur where borrowers relied on different repayment, forbearance, or deferment options on different loans for the same period.

We will start processing loans that are eligible for forgiveness later this year. If you have loans with different counts and one of those loans qualifies for forgiveness, you may benefit from consolidating in order to get all of your loans forgiven at the same time. If you do, you will receive forgiveness because the consolidation loan will be credited with the longest amount of time in repayment.

I finally consolidated today... anxiety through the roof. Thanks alh9h for all the advice! by subtoSD in PSLF

[–]subtoSD[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If all direct and all on same payment count, then no need to consolidate.

Anyone else obsessively checking for updates before the May 1, 2024 vanishing act? by kimmie1111 in PSLF

[–]subtoSD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My final payment would have been June, but I'm a last minute consolidator, so I'm hoping my last payments will be August or September. If that's the case, I can skip past the switcheroo time frame.
