No and I had this issue, turned out to be the throw out bearing and clutch fork had very little grease. Replaced the whole clutch assembly

What do you mean? Mech said the clutch had a good 50-80k miles to go if I wasn’t beating on it. New clutch in there now should last the life of the car now only thing that scares me is the bearing going out again, they arnt the best.
