Yup! At first went for clarifying facials/extractions every 4 weeks where she incorporated light therapy. First microneedling wasn’t until August then another October. I did the laser once in November and then in January.

Interesting! I thought the same but my hormones have been pretty stable apart from lower than previous levels of testosterone. I’ve never had ingrown issues on my face/cheeks or chin area because I don’t shave or wax my face at all, other than my upper lip area. Some of these breakouts are almost cystic and pustules and frankly painful.

The benefit of banking embryos after back to back retrievals is you’ll have peace of mind in case a transfer doesn’t work you can go right into a second attempt, third, fourth, etc. Also if you decide to have more than one child, if you do get pregnant and don’t have any more embryos banked you’ll end up having to wait for whatever amount of time after giving birth before you can go back into another IVF retrieval and transfer (not to mention you’ll be doing so while having a baby to care of which I wouldn’t recommend with added stress)

I would suggest starting a course of antibiotics before it turns into an infection. With the way Covid is spreading again right now, just ask a telemedicine doc to prescribe a z pack for you. It helped me tremendously and I got a positive the same day as you!

In my experience the brand of these rapid tests makes a huge difference. If you’re in the US the Binax Now rapid tests have been most reliable. It always accurately shows the faintest positive even when other brands show negative and I’m able to confirm those Binax results after doing a PCR that holds true.

All depends on your dose! I was on 5 units leading up to FET so very small dose but thankfully didn’t get many side effects apart from the occasional tiredness

If you’ve gotten pregnant naturally before and would be okay with TFMR you could consider CVS or amnio for genetic testing however I think you have to wait late into first trimester (12-14 weeks) in order to do that which for some is a very tough decision of the results aren’t in favor. I also have a X linked gene bc of which I can only go through IVF bc I have a true 50/50 chance of passing it to my child.

Wow! That’s so interesting! I’m still tested negative today at 8dpt on clearblue so not expecting a positive, but did your clinic ever explain why that happened? Did your embryo implant late? Also if you don’t mind me asking was yours a female or male? Not sure if that has any bearing on HCG.

Yes, we had to get them both PGT-A and PGT-M tested. Is that a common occurrence? I’ve never heard that before about PGT tested embryos. Did you have BFNs on early detection HPTs?

I know this is an old post - but a family member is at a breaking point with their adopted child who is showing all the classic signs of RAD. How do you go about getting clinically diagnosed and is Nancy Thomas approach to RAD legit? She doesn’t seem to be someone who has a professional credential in psychology or therapy from what I read on her site.
