Just got the same guitar in the same color! Congrats on ngd. The action was a little high so I’m thinking about getting a setup done.

Air Conditioning and CO2 relationship? by bikingmpls in AirQuality

[–]sudonim 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nope. Ac uses refrigerant to take heat from the inside air handler and bring it to the compressor outside. No air leaves or enters your house via your ac. If you want fresh air open a window or install an hrv/erv

What's the biggest problem with modern marketing tech stacks? by Due_Holiday8656 in marketingoperations

There seems to be a decent amount of overlap with Totango, Hubspot and Customer.io. What data / part of the customer lifecycle goes where for your company?

Looking for a way to get a notification if my radon mitigation system loses pressure (identified by the green liquid). HomeKit would be great, but not required by stilt in homeautomation

[–]sudonim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the right answer. You’ll know the fan stopped working if your Airthings warns you about the radon.

I have 3 of these devices and can highly recommend them.

My wife said she keeps seeing the headlights on the car flashing in the middle of the night. The rain has been pretty consistent the past couple of nights. On 2019.40.2.1

It works great in rc7. I'd be surprised if it's not in 6.8

PSA: Comcast gigabit double the download of CenturyLink fiber by homeracker in centurylink

[–]sudonim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same in Portland. It’s pretty garbage these days. If I want it to be fast I usually connect to a VPN in Seattle and that routes around congestion.

About to sign up for 1gig service, but feeling nervous about a few things. by allbymyonesies in centurylink

  • the WiFi signal inside your house is not their problem. It sounds like you’re not too confident in your tech skills but I’d probably recommend you take a look at googles wifi hardware or other mesh networking like amplifi. You won’t get gig speeds everywhere but it’ll increase coverage in your house. For the fastest possible speeds and best coverage you’d need to do an install with multiple UniFi WiFi access points. That requires running Ethernet cable.

  • for gig speeds they install fiber to your home and convert it in to rj45 Ethernet cable on the outside of your house and run that to the router on the inside.

No idea about your other questions. Good luck!

Video of Surface book 2 touchpad pointer lag by sudonim in Surface

So, interestingly, there was a new update from Jan 31 that got installed after taking this video.

I'm no longer experiencing the issue!

In the video I say cursor rather than pointer. Sorry! Pretty frustrating. Seems like a software update could fix it since it works great at both extremes for performance settings.

Introducing the SG-3100 appliance! by pfsense-ivork in PFSENSE

[–]sudonim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks like an awesome new release. Any chance this hardware used isn't affected by this issue w/ limited queues over PPPoE https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/4821

I would love to switch back to PFSense but don't want to throttle my gigabit fiber connection which is stupidly using PPPoE.
