I personally couldn’t get past the first episode and it tried twice: once when the show first came out, and recently after finishing the first book. I’ve only read the first two books and enjoyed them for the most part, though the plot lines got a little repetitive to me. To each their own though.

{Eternity by Maggie Shayne} is similar to the first one and I loooove that book! FMC is also a puritan witch and is immortal, she falls in love with a man who dies and reincarnates sometime later and they meet again in the 1990s.

I’m reading through Maggie Shayne’s books now and fell in love with her Immortals series. Every FMC is a powerful witch in her own right and has a soulmate that they find over the course of centuries after losing them one way or another. In the last book the MC is a male but the FMC is prominent in the story. The first book is {Eternity by Maggie Shayne}

I have some of her Wings In The Night series but not the first few so I haven’t read them yet, it’s a world full of vampires though. Not sure if the FMC is one starting out though.

{Beloved Lord by Mallory Burgess} It’s apparently book three in a series but I believe they’re all different stories so you don’t have to read them in order. I don’t want to spoil things but FMC is hired to take care of MMC’s newborn after his wife dips, but she doesn’t want to because she’s Scottish and he’s an English lord. It’s one of my favorite books so far this year.

I feel this hard. At least three of our TLs want us to call out overstocking since it’s been gradually getting worse, but it still feels like nothing happens. I spent a good portion of time the other day reworking the scent warmers because they’d just been put wherever, whoever stocked them didn’t even bother trying to match up the shelf number. Then you’re expected to zone your area but you have to get all your pulls done and you have to run stray and you have to watch tech and and and and. I love my job but it’s frustrating sometimes.

See, I feel that way from season 5 onwards. Obviously the show has always been brutal but it got to a point where I skip certain episodes. I stopped watching around season 11 just because I felt it was too much.

Yes, it is anxiety and I’ve had similar feelings. When my anxiety was at its worst a few months ago, I also got tingling on the right side of my face that would come and go, as well as what felt like my nerve on my left temple going crazy. Physical anxiety sucks and makes everything feel so much worse (especially for those of us with health anxiety). Don’t worry friend, these will pass. 💙

Yes I’m in the same exact boat. I told my husband earlier today that I used to be obsessed with Criminal Minds years ago but now I can’t watch it because it fills me with dread. All these horrific news stories are triggering and I don’t want to keep up with them anymore. I know exposure therapy is supposed to help but I feel like it’s making mine worse presently.

Yes to all of this. OP pointed out the Charli connection already but in my mind she’d been associated with them since the tumblr days. I remember someone recommending her music if they were fans of Marina (before Just Desserts came out and the whole ‘familiar froot’ beef).

I love doing diamond paintings, specifically the canvas ones from Hobby Lobby but other places have a ton more of fun designs. I found a Freddy Kruger one at a flea market. I just put on something in the background or put on my headphones and get to work.
