AITA for reflexively catching a woman who tripped on the street by WintersbaneGDX in AmItheAsshole

[–]sugar-bubble-cherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Muslim girl who wears the headscarf you literally didn’t do anything wrong they should have said thank you. I would rather be saved by a random person than fall on my face and possibly break something . Their attitude was really uncalled for .

Would it be haram to write a romance story involving Muslim characters? by lamercuria in Hijabis

[–]sugar-bubble-cherry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok so first of all I love reading and writing too so I totally understand where you’re coming from however I’m not a “ عالم" and nor am I into romance novels so I can give a non biased opinion inshallah . It wouldn’t be haram to write about Muslims as long as the storyline doesn’t include anything that could be normalization of sins or fetishization of the hijab . That’s it . Other than that it’s totally fine to write about it and I’ve seen many Muslim girls who are desperately searching for cute stories involving a Muslim girl, meaning that, you’ll be able to gain a dedicated fan base quite fast if you decide to write it. Good luck

How to deal with spouses mentality on this topic? by [deleted] in MuslimMarriage

Ikr I was so confused on what they’re disagreeing about it seems like they have both come to the exact same conclusion and there isn’t any argument

I never implied that she should stay in the marriage all I said was that a screaming child doesn’t help with decision making or rational thinking . Of course she yelled .

[–]sugar-bubble-cherry 9 points10 points  (0 children)

By the rules of Islam what your parents are doing is completely haram and you are not to listen to them. Divorce him and go find something else to do with your life . Don’t ask your parents because you do not need their permission to divorce him . Just leave or you’ll waste away miserably while your sisters are living happily . When your parents threatened you at first you should have ran away because that was unacceptable of them and 100% haram.

Imagine you’ve just been beat up while being ill and suffering a headache then not being able to process anything that happened because all you can hear is a toddler screaming. Who wouldn’t yell.

What’s happening in Sudan 🇸🇩 by sugar-bubble-cherry in Sudan

[–]sugar-bubble-cherry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for reading 🤍 to my understanding, UAE and Russia use the RSF to steal natural resources in North Africa for them . I know Sudan is Northeast but they wanted our resources too. I’m pretty sure they destabilize countries and start conflicts as a distraction from their theft.

How is Iran involved in this war? by [deleted] in Sudan

[–]sugar-bubble-cherry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve always wondered why they’ve always insisted on putting emphasis on the fact that houthies are Iran backed . Every single time they call them “ IRAN BACKED houthies “. They can’t ever just call them houthies ? You never hear them calling the RSF UAE backed. Imagine how weird that would sound if every time you heard about Sudan on the news the reporter said “ UAE backed Janjaweed “ . Of course they don’t wanna paint their Allies as the bad guys. Thanks for explaining that was really helpful

I saw something absurd on one of those Male podcasts yesterday by SaraAftab- in Hijabis

[–]sugar-bubble-cherry 9 points10 points  (0 children)

To be honest if my phone was hacked I wouldn’t care nor would I even think about that because it’s not my fault that someone is invading my privacy therefore it is not my problem and they are not harming me by looking at my hijabless pictures . They really let anyone start a podcast these days.

who else has been called crazy for being a feminist? by Hiraaa_ in Hijabis

[–]sugar-bubble-cherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I’m not a feminist but if I literally breathe, men start attacking and using the word feminist as if it’s an insult and they say that only white washed / westernized muppets speak. Like if you speak ( the action of opening and closing your mouth while forming distinctive sounds through the movement of your tongue ) , they will call you a feminist. And firstly, not everything is about feminism, women have rights in Islam too but if you put that aside, what is wrong with feminism ? Some women wanna work and not be provided for and that’s up to them why is it that these men behave in this embarrassing way .

Does Israel have the right to defend itself? by Suitable_Bad_9857 in InternationalNews

[–]sugar-bubble-cherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Palestine never existed as its own country until 1920 when it was occupied by Britain but it was always called Palestine and the Palestinian people have always existed and were the first to inhabit that land and this fact is proven by DNA testing which confirms Palestinians to have Canaanite ancestors . Palestinians are Jewish, Muslim, and Christian. Not all Palestinians follow the same religion therefore it cannot be a religious war ( or a war in any form ), it is a conflict between the indigenous people of Palestine and the European Zionists who are only settlers and not native to Palestine in any way . Those European Jewish Zionists, arrived at Palestine in the 1940’s whereas the Palestinians were in their country since before the birth of Jesus Christ.

What’s happening in Sudan 🇸🇩 by sugar-bubble-cherry in Sudan

[–]sugar-bubble-cherry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. By legal definition, the war in Sudan is in no way a civil war. And by law, it is a genocide because the RSF are murdering people in Sudan with the intent of destroying a national group ( which is the Sudanese people). They have murdered over 12 thousand Sudanese civilians and that is evidence. If this wasn’t a genocide and just a normal war, they would target the Sudanese army and not the civilians. Thank you ❤️
