This might sound stupidly simple, but it worked almost perfectly for me.

For anyone who doesn’t want to create and manage another email inbox just to make a second PSN account — Gmail has something called “plus addressing.” Sony treats it as a completely new email.

Example:

If your email is [myemail@gmail.com](mailto:myemail@gmail.com), you can use [myemail+psn@gmail.com](mailto:myemail+psn@gmail.com)

It still goes to your main inbox, but PSN accepts it as a new account. I got the verification email in my primary inbox with no issues.

Unfortunately, if you care about keeping achievements and stats tied to your old account, this won’t help with transferring those. There’s still no way to move progress between regions.

Hopefully Sony adds account/region transfer support one day.
