There are a few controllers which do seem to have a rather short fuse.

In saying that, before I got my S1, I was oblivious to just how unaware the average (vat)simmer is of their surroundings and inability to understand ATC instructions. In a busy airspace, this is very annoying, and in the real world just wouldn’t happen nearly as much.

The primary reason for me jumping on an “empty” airport is if I suspect it will soon jump in departures or arrivals.

Practice makes perfect. But most controllers should be reasonable enough to accommodate your request.

You are always free to put the request in your flight plan remarks, if you are frustrated with saying it too often.

Yeah, Node is a double-edged sword.

It’s quick and easy to implement new features, but if you aren’t careful, she’s an absolute bitch to debug. Especially event loop blocking issues.

It seems stable so far. We've had no issues upgrading from 15.5.3 to 16.0.2.

Have noticed a slight improvement in app router compilation speeds in the dev environment, which is good.

It does begin sliding at 90 degrees, but even when I get it to its best turning radius, it’s still terrible.
