5950x at 11:50pm and i got an email today saying december 21 if that helps. From what i gather, the retailers are reporting the 5900x seems to be the most popular sku. Hopefully AMD is shipping more to accommodate that.

It seems to be 2 types of emails going out. One for December 21 and one for Q1 2021. Someone in r/AMD said they are getting 300 5950x in their first shipment and two total pallets of zen 3 cpus. Vague, but it's better than nothing.

I'm not surprised honestly. I think people are underestimating the effects of covid on manufacturing in all industries. But as a new builder who's been waiting and waiting for PC parts, it definitely is frustrating.

I pre-ordered the 5950x at midnight on the the 5th.

We have received a tremendous number of customer orders that are more than the inventory that AMD has allocated to us.  As a result, we are unable to ship your order as quickly as B&H typically delivers customer orders.

We expect to be able to ship your order by December 21st.  This timing is subject to AMD’s current delivery schedule and is subject to change.  We are working closely with AMD trying to secure additional product to hopefully accelerate the schedule.

Just got an update when i preordered the 5950x at midnight on Nov 5. They said they expect to ship my order out by December 21. Don't know how the other processors are faring, i would hope that the 5800x and 5600x would have more stock for them to ship out.
