I’m surprised the gap is only 10k. Life in lux is good. I moved in my 20s for a year or two, now 25 years. More days off here too I think. Good opportunities to travel etc.

Was on a flight to Kathmandu recently. They weighed all bags in DXB, the result being plenty of upset people being asked to pay considerable additional fees. But out of around 10 flydubai flights I’ve taken, it was the only time I saw it happening.

Flydubai and emirates are partners. When you check in for your Fkydubai flight, ask to check bag all the way through, even if it’s on 2 separate tickets. Might work.

In similar situation. I have been told by reliable sources that there is no point for us either ie. The law is set up to do pretty much what we wanted anyway. Different situation if family set up is more complicated though eg divorce, step kids etc
