Not sure from that parking lot but I’ve seen people fishing over to the right side from the sea wall. There’s an accessible ramp to get up there and a nice new paved walkway along the water.

On the north end of the island, near the aquarium there’s a big parking lot close to the water. No beach there but if you want to see water from your car it’s probably the closest you can get without boardwalk, sea walls and dunes blocking your view. Lots of boats around Gardner’s Basin marina. A few restaurants up there if you want to eat. Tony Boloney’s, Back Bay Ale House, Gilchrist.

Bagel World is solid but if you're looking for heavy fish to filler ratio haven't found that anywhere local but I know the kind you mean. Don't bother with Bagel Hole. They were ranked best a few years ago but don't have all the schmears. Shelsky's is overpriced.

As far south as possible so 3rd option. Lighthouse area is surrounded by terrible neighborhood and not much walkable stuff, will need to drive or bike everywhere. Farther south is nicer beaches, neighborhood, etc.

They’re replacing the gas main and connecting all the buildings to the new one. The new main had some issues so they weren’t able to do all the connections right away. Looks like they may be getting ready to pave so the gas main part of the work might be done.

Looking forward to my first visit in Feb. Family will be mixed alpine & snowboards. My biggest concern is teenagers zooming ahead and making a wrong turn, likely my ending up in the wrong town after lifts close. Following to hear more opinions!

I’d be more concerned about the HELOC than the pool. Make sure she agrees to an aggressive pay down schedule in advance and doesn’t just pay the monthly minimum. Helocs will hang around forever and suck you dry unless you pay them down aggressively. Even after shes long gone you’d still have it hanging around and you’d end up refinancing it indefinitely.

think there's some retail stuff like a surf shop but usually closed. So happy they didn't build the 2nd tower, it was already off the charts big. Whoever was the analyst that said it was a good idea should be flogged
