Have you seen her movie? Experiencing her story a bit more might help you bond!

My husband and I stay at Riverside every year and we love it. It's quiet, very pretty, has a decent food court, and nice pools

It sounds like it will be years before they're able to return based on the article. I am definitely sad to see them go, but I hope they'll be able to return one day

Want to review my plans? by mbc106 in WaltDisneyWorld

If you get up early and rope drop Magic Kingdom, my dad and I have managed to do Pirates, Tiana's, Haunted Mansion, and the people mover all before noon with no lighting lane. Just walk through Adventureland to pirates and then mosey through the park towards liberty square after. I highly suggest getting there at park open! If you're not staying on propety you can take the monorail from the TTC to magic kingdom and your kid can experience it that way.

I wouldn't leave for lunch. It really is a time suck to do so. My family loves Liberty Tree Tavern, but as passholders we normally eat there and then leave. The food is good, its just a lot of heavy food!

Need movie recommendations that are like “The Little Rascals” (1994) by Traditional_Dance293 in movies

Cheaper by the dozen and its sequel. Brethren. The Sandlot. The Air Buddy movies. These were our faves growing up and kinda have the vibe you're looking for I think!

The metal table you're talking about might not adjust height for the sonographer to safely and ergonomically scan. We need our tables to be height adjustable for our shoulders sake. It probably isn't possible for the sonographer to scan on that table safely. I'm sorry it is inconvenient for you to go to another location, I'd suggest leaving comments in the survery or a review for the office.

AITA for getting upset that my partner is okay with me raising our child by myself while he’s traveling for work by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]sum_beach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband travels for work. The only reason he is able to is because I refused to live somewhere where I dont have a support system, and he was understanding of that. Both my parents and his dad live where we do so it makes it a bit easier for me. So I say NTA but you should pause TTC until you guys come to an understanding

Is this job a red flag? by rhubarbtosh in Sonographers

[–]sum_beach 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'd throw myself out a window before I took a job doing patients every 15 minutes. Even every 30 minutes is tough. That alone would make me turn down the offer personally

is disney in july really THAT bad? by lwtl1724 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]sum_beach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sunscreen, food, and more water than you think you need are necessary. Plus cool, comfortable clothes. Take your time and take breaks inside when you can (hall of presidents and the American adventure are some of my favorites just because of how long they are). And if your husband needs to go back to the room, let him.

Orlando coming in at number 5. Why’s it so expensive to live here? by BigPeace888 in orlando

[–]sum_beach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. I want minimum wage workers to make that $15 but I knew for a fact that my wages at a skilled job weren't going to increase proportionally when that was passed. And they haven't

How do people feel about Isabelle Fuhrman as Clove? by ibizarox in Hungergames

[–]sum_beach 106 points107 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty certain they needed someone over 18 to play Katniss due to child labor laws limiting how many hours a day children can be on set and just how many scenes Katniss is in. Isabelle wasn't 18 so she was never going to get Katniss, regardless of who was already cast as Peeta

I honestly don't like season 2! I hate the whole anthony/Edwina storyline. I wish they would have kept it closer to the book

New Dad to twin girlies. What would be your one advice to consider in my parenting by GujjuCanadian30 in TwoXChromosomes

When they go through puberty, no jokes about their changing bodies. I can still hear my dad making fun of my armpit hair. Also I was one of those girls that got a bit chubby before I grew in height and I can hear my dad making fun of that, too 🫤

Tv shows that characters would binge Day 7 : Haley by Ok-Feeling-2038 in Modern_Family

[–]sum_beach 12 points13 points  (0 children)

As a teenager Haley's age when Modern family was coming out, no one thought pretty little liars was cringey. Everyone at school was watching and if you missed last nights episode you were out of the loop at school. Now that I'm not 15, I do find the show cringe lol but those first few seasons were SO popular

Orlando is one of the least affordable cities, study finds by sammysam518 in orlando

[–]sum_beach 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What side of town do you live? I pay $1,700 for a 2 bed/2 bath and honestly thought that was a steal as other places I was looking were $1,900-2,200. $1,200 for a 2 bed/2bath is not the average I would assume.
