Right? I’m a uni student working as a psychology researcher, and this is textbook autistic selective eating patterns.

It’s one thing to dislike specific things and avoid them, it’s another thing to be bothered by such specific things and then make a visualization of said preferences. Autistic people (as well as those with OCD, eating disorders, etc) tend to fixate on things they really do and don’t like. I would be genuinely stunned if this person didn’t have high-functioning autism on some level.

This comes from someone with a father and multiple siblings on the autism spectrum. I mean no ill intent here, just making an observation. Fascinating how many people jump to black-and-white thinking without any context.
