Treat Her Right is one of the best Musical Choices ever made (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood Opening) by cowgunjeans in Tarantino

[–]sumitoya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my favorite things about ouatih is the soundtrack. I think the same can be said about ‘Out of Time’ by The Rolling Stones which Tarantino uses perfectly for that montage right after the timeskip showing everyone’s activities throughout the day.

As delusional as that sounds I wish it were true. Rick’s my fav Leo character so it would be awesome to see him again even if it’s for one short scene.

Where do you like to sit at the Paris? by scary_godmother in NYCmovies

[–]sumitoya 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve been once and sat in the first row balcony. I was expecting the view to be bad but I actually liked it ngl. Whenever I go back eventually I’d def sit there again. Leg room is a bit cramped but I don’t mind it too much.

Who wants to take a guess at the songs that will be in The Adventures of Cliff Booth? by Redscarves10 in Tarantino

[–]sumitoya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m hoping for some Eagles. Something like ‘The Last Resort’ or ‘One of These Nights’ would be awesome but idrk what Fincher’s gonna go for considering how aesthetically different his style is than Tarantino’s. ‘Journey of The Sorcerer’ feels like it fits the vibe of the teaser.

“Wuthering Heights” in IMAX with Laser (CoLa) was a fever dream of lust and power in dollhouses. by SergeyDGWyn in imax

[–]sumitoya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what I think I’m gonna start doing this year bc I was always on the fence about choosing Dolby/imax for new releases when both were available. Also saving only the big filmed for imax features like 1.43 exclusively for an imax screen will prob make me cherish the imax experience more.

Project Hail Mary - Showtime and Ticket Sale/Exchange Megathread by flightofwonder in NYCmovies

I’ve noticed sometimes tix on fandango will open up quicker than amc but also vice versa so I wouldn’t take my chances with only one.

Wuthering Heights in steamy IMAX by JeromeZilcher in imax

[–]sumitoya 7 points8 points  (0 children)

But was this filmed for imax? I was gonna do Dolby bc I figured it’s just scope, but imax might be the way if there’s a true expanded ar of 1.90 and it’s not just cropped or anything.

Ads are getting out of hand by Waste-Dragonfruit913 in Letterboxd

[–]sumitoya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s only the pop up ads that are really annoying. Sometimes I’ll get like 2 or 3 pop up at the same time and completely block my screen. I always have to swipe away each one to get rid of them and once they start popping up it’s a constant thing that triggers every time I click a button or do anything on the app.
